Nick Fazekas?

Might as well make a thread before someone else does, thoughts?

We worked him out before the draft so we have to like him somewhat at least, looked through the bottom teams and only saw a few who may want him.

Fazekas is like Mehmet Okur, only if he really sucked. I can't see him adding anything of value to a contending team like the Jazz.

He would be an excellent addition to the Flash when Fes comes up.

I'm not much interested in spending roster spots on prospects who need developing. If they can't help in a significant way now, let someone else have them.

exactly I have no problem with stashing him in the D League and see if he improves, better then drafting a similar player next year, and have to play the waiting game with his aswell. Either way no Big deal for me, but I dont see how he could hurt playing with the flash.

I really liked him in the draft. If he's available, there is no reason not to take a flier on him other than that it hurts LHM bottom line. Since that means jack **** to me, I would definitely approve of the move.

Can't remember exactly why now, but at the time I thought he had several indicators of a possible 2nd round steal for a team willing to wait for him. We'll see though, as I doubt the Jazz make the move.

I always thought the green font isn't warranted in some cases. I was wrong.

I really like him, and I've really liked him since he played with Nevada, but he really isn't what the Jazz need. I could see him doing for some team what Harpring does for the Jazz, but we simply don't need him here.

Its not simply the fact of wasting a roster spot, but what would be the point? We only have 1 FA this summer and have a guranteed contract in the 1st round if we dont trade our pick. Not to mention the Jazz like to have at least one spot open in case of injuries, trades or at least for a Camp invitee that impresses. Plus the Jazz can only have 2 assigned DL players. Anyway long story short...it will never happen.

He can find a role in the NBA, but we don't need a rookie who can be, at best, a lighter version of Memo.
