Justin Williams?

Williams recently got waived by the Kings. He's an athletic big man who can really block shots. Obviously, it's not like he'd make a huge impact, but he definitely offers some things we could use. Should we go after him?

Hes averaging 0.2 blocks and steals per game. Why do we need him? All he would do is create a log jam in our already fine-tuned rotation.

look at minutes played, thats why he is averaging what he is. Plus he wont crack the rotation at all, he would just be an insurance policy if Collins or Memo go down. He is a legit shot blocker and is young enough to where we can develop him to be a solid backup (an extremely more athletic version of Collins).

Odd that they waived him. I thought they really liked him there. Probably a drug problem.

^^

Or the fact that they just got 4 players for Mike Bibby. Im not saying he is squeaky clean, but thats the same reason Fazekas got waived as well.

That is nice of you to automatically assume that he has a drug problem.

That's my usual assumption when a team waives a player they formerly liked.

Sorry if it's too presumptive for ya.

Maybe he is being investigated for securities fraud?

I like this guy, but the Jazz simply don't need him.

Would you have assumed the drug problem if he was white? Probably just a Utah thing

I will. Because I'm just assuming.

Why don't we sign an extension to Hart contracts for 5 more years?

We still have Fess, but Justin Williams is interesting as a defensive prospect.

Maybe they dumped him cause of this?

But maybe we would want him because of this:

Justin Williams was dumped along with Dahnty Jones was because they must free up 2 roster spots BEFORE making that 3 for 1 trade. They were the odd man out and have the cheapest contract, so it was a no brainer to waive them.

I hope he clears waiver and Kings cut one of Wright/Lue to pick him back up.
