Jazz booed last night!

I have to admit it bothers me that the fans booed the Jazz last night. If the Jazz had lost 5 or 6 in a row and were consistantly playing horrible I probably wouldn't feel so upset about it but this team has been amazing since the first of the year and they have a bad half and get booed. You could argue a few games, but have a little loyalty. Even the best teams have rough stretches. I know it wasn't everyone but for those that did, pretty classless imo.

They paid for tickets, they could do whatever they want. I'm all for booing the team if one is disappointed.

I am okay with it for the most part. It doesn't matter how many games they have lost in a row. They had no heart and didn't seem to care at all in the first half last night.

The fans at the ESA saw the amount of effort the Jazz put out in the first half last night..... NONE.

Fans pay to watch professional basketball players do their job -- which is to play basketball to the best of their ability, which requires a full-effort.

The Jazz didn't do that in the first half... what do you want the fans to do? Fill out a Complaint Form and give it to the nearest usher?

Classless fans yell racist epithets, throw things, get off their ass drunk to the point it interferes with other fans or the game, or curse loudly and offend other people in the stands. Booing is merely the fans displaying their displeasure with what they payed for. Its not classless.

I am so sick of this argument, I don't even understand why it is one.

I don't heckle or even hardly boo, but booing the jazz last night was 100% fine. Over the years the jazz fans have booed the jazz on quite a few occasions, and its always for valid reasons. With the way the jazz were playing the SHOULD have been booed by their fans. It obviously didnt effect them in a negative way since they came out and got their act together and won the game! I'm as big of a jazz homer as their is and I think they team should get booed at times by their own fans, and I think its stupid to be complaining about it.

The post game interview with Deron was interesting. They asked him about the boos and he said he would probably boo too if he was watching them play that first half.

This morning Boozer was on and he said he didn't like that the fans booed but was glad they got behind them as they started the run in the comeback. They were still down about 8 in the third quarter when the fans were getting on their feet and cheering the team on.

Jazz fans as a whole are passionate but not patient. You have to live through the rough spots but they absolutely reward success and effort.

The way the Jazz played in the first half, I would've been pissed if the fans hadn't booed.

The Jazz got booed because they're inconsistent. The fans see how good they are, and when the team isn't living up to it's potential it's dissapointing. If they were just a bunch of talentless scrubs, people would understand and they wouldn't get booed. They needed it last night.

Hey they booed, but it's better than if they would have left the building, cause they were there to cheer the team on later! :-P

This is the same place that booed Fisher too... the FEEL GOOD STORY of the renaissance of the Utah Jazz... booing the Jazz during an obvious out of effort half is quite expected.

Also the boos show me that Utah cares.... This ain't Memphis or NY that doesn't care a lick about their team.

LJ... you gotta admit there wasn't a standing ovation either... Utah Jazz fans are the closest thing we have in America to a European soccer team crowd..

There were hardly any cheering I agree, but I don't think he deserved it either. I LOVED fish when he came, I was one of the few that thought the trade would be good before he played for us. However, the BS he to leave is just to much for me. I would never boo him, but I didn't cheer for him either. To lie right to our face like that is just disgusting.

Jazz fans aren't that bad, games that i've been to in philly and portland were much worse.
