TOUGHNESS

Post#1 » by pink22 » Sat Mar 1, 2008 11:54 pm

We don't have any. That is the number one problem with our team. Harpring has it, and I'd say Deron has some but we really lack toughness as a team. I never thought I'd see the day when a Jerry Sloan team would be considered soft, but this team is. Kind of makes me realize how tough John and Karl were and how it rubbed off on others. I miss that. We need that. Boozer, Memo, AK, I'm talking to you.

The only thing tough about this team is watching them gargle pig nuts on the road.

We need Deron Williams and Memo to start playing great at the same time. Deron has to stop being a turnover machine.

But I must agree, it is a lot about leadership and maturity. We are the quietest team, and one of our leaders has virginized the concept of defense (Yes Boozie, I am talking about you).

I've yet to see us play like we want to win a ring! It takes every second of a game to win a ring not just that second half! Boozer is the one who I want to see more out of! I want to see him throw down more dunks and really own the paint more! Too easy to get him in foul trouble! And maybe a little more shooting from "the hitman" lol. His shots better this year and I want to see it fly more!

Did you knew his family plays football too...

lawlness..

I think what the guy meant to say was toughness in the sense of mental toughness. Harpring needs to be offered 20 bucks in order to get a dunk done, that is no leadership or toughness.
