I want Lakers and Rockets to win.

Lakers will be the 1 or 2 seed - Dallas and Utah will not. Jazz have a better chance of overtaking The Mavs in the standings. So as much as it pains me, you have to concede the 1 or 2 seed to LA and look at it as a 3-6 race between NO, Phoe, Dal and Utah.

As far as Den - Hou. You have to go with the Rox now because they have a incredibly tough schedule the last 3-4 weeks of the season and eventually the weight of not having Yao will catch up with them a bit. (although I don't think they will collapse like most people think). So you root for them now to create space for Utah and hope they fall back later when they play 10 of their final 15 on the road.

I want Mavs and Houston to win.. too

With this lost by the Mavs... if we beat them, they we will tie the record and also own the tiebreaker.

It's too early to give up on the 1 seed, but the Lakers already won.

And the Nuggets have a tough schedule, they won't make the playoffs regardless of the outcome of this game.

Lakers won and have the most wins, but the Spurs have played 3 games less... and also they have a whooping gap of .702 and .700
