Playoff proven chuck is now with Phoenix. Be afraid Utah of the daily turnover.
Anyone ready for tankathon Suns, lead by Big Cactus.

Don't run your mouth just yet. The Jazz have a game 2 games from now at Phoenix you know.

Doubt he even gets much burn with Phoenix. Just an extra body in case of injury perhaps.

I am just saying... Kerr lost his validity after signing a player who has tanked deep into DNPness in two teams (UTA, PHI) in the 07-08 season.
I am just saying, Kerr = Executive of the Year or also author of how to destroy a franchise in 100 days or less.

It's funny they say Giricek is an "exelent shooter" while the "Giri-lovers" over here kept saying how Sloan distroyed his game by "making him" a shooter. Maybe Kerr ment an excelent driver-slasher?? LOL

Kerr is a moron. He's in the process of squandering the final few productive seasons of Nash's career. Phoenix at worst needed a little botox, instead they got a massive amount of reverse liposuction and with the addition of Giri, a boob job.

Shaq and then Gira??? These are the final moves needed to push Phoenix over the top!!! Bring on the NBA Finals

wow, so much Giri hate....... Did Giri kick the sh*t out of any of you guys? Did he run over your dog? Lets keep some perspective here, the guy maybe didn't play as well as everyone would have liked, but thats it. Not living up to expectations isn't a horrible offense. I personally wasn't a big fan of Giri, but I don't see how this is a bad addition for the suns, Giri is a shooter (albeit somewhat streaky) and the suns always will take a chance on a shooter.

The Giri hate is a byproduct of Sloan love.

Wow, does that mean Giri love is rooted in Sloan hate?
What if you don't like Giri and you don't like Harpring and Collins? The mind boggles...

After a long time of listening to Kerr commentating it's hard to consider him an absolute idiot. But the Shaq trade and now signing Chuck.
Kerr is (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

I seem to be in the minority with my view that it'll work well for both parties.
Gira could play well in an offense like theirs for ten minutes per game. He won't be the Suns' worst perimeter defender, either. Not by a long shot.

I love how people keep harping on Giricek traveling once in a while, but say nothing about Matt Harpring missing 15 layups in one game or constantly picking up offensive fouls, which are turnovers just like traveling calls........

You have to look at it from a system point of view. Phoenix needs shooters more than ever... especially with how middle-heavy they are now. We all know how they have been a fastbreak team... but all of a sudden they look sluggish, cluttered, and in desperate need for some shooters.
Giri will get the respect of defenders... meaning -- he will stretch the floor for the suns. Its sort of like a lesser-version of the Korver effect here in Utah. Korver hasn't been shooting lights out from outside most nights, but he still gets the respect of the defense. Giricek will do the same thing.
Its all about how your game is perceived by the defense. Even if Giri is having an off-year, he is still dubbed a 'shooter' in the league and will be treated as such.

I don't think I've seen any Giri love. Just a bunch of bandwagon hating is all I've seen.

But is it simply straightforward bandwagon hating of Giri or is it bandwagon loving of Sloan leading to bandwagon hating of Giri? And more importantly, is anyone who doesn't subscribe to your particular views automatically a bandwagoner?

From what I've seen, it's been a combination of the two. The Giri hate first emerged from the Sloanies after the incedent where Giri was sent home on that road trip. After the trade, the bandwagon started to roll... It's a common human behavior... kind of like a witch hunt.
BTW, I certainly wouldn't want anyone to subscribe to my views, that in itself is jumping on my bandwagon. I'll throw your sorry ass off.
I guess the bandwagon itself is what I hate most.
