I sure hope he's not very seriously injured. He's a huge key to this team.

Dirk should be suspended for that foul...Esp. if Horford was suspended for his foul on TJ Ford.

He's listed as day-to day but he's doubtful for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.

Injured Kirilenko listed day-to-day
The Jazz on Tuesday practiced without starting small forward Andrei Kirilenko, who sprained his right hip in the opening quarter of Monday night's win over Dallas.
Kirilenko was reexamined this morning, and afterward the Jazz said they still believe the extent of the injury is the same as was diagnosed Monday

Jazz Tuesday update: A.K. day to day; Miles ready to start
C.J. Miles is about to go from rarely used sub to starter once again. At least that is the plan, if forward Andrei Kirilenko can't play in Wednesday's game against Minnesota because of his injured right hip.
Kirilenko is listed as day to day but it's doubtful he'll be available for Wednesday's game. He suffered the injury when he was pulled to the floor by Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki as he tried to score in the first quarter of Monday's 116-110 win.
X-rays were negative but Kirilenko was scheduled to undergo an MRI today.
Sloan said he would start Miles and continue to bring Matt Harpring and Kyle Korver off the bench if Kirilenko isn't available.
Miles played 15 minutes Monday in Kirilenko's absence, the first substantial minutes he has played since playing 19 minutes in win over Chicago on Feb. 9. He missed the two shots he took Monday but did have four rebounds. Most importantly, he played hard, Sloan said.
"He seemed ready to get after it and that is always encouraging," he said. "C.J. has worked hard, it's just difficult to find minutes for everybody and now he'll get an opportunity to play."
Miles is averaging 4.6 points and 11.2 minutes a game, but hasn't played many consistent minutes since December and January when the Jazz were at times without Kirilenko and Harpring for various
"It's not uncommon," Miles said of his up and down role. "All I can do is stay in the best shape I can possibly be in and be ready to play. When it happened, I knew I was going to get some minutes and I was just trying to get my rhythm out there. It's crazy, one game you might just play one minute and the next you could be playing 25 minutes. You have to be ready."

Is Sloan going to start Miles just so he doesn't mess with Korver and Harpring's rotation too much? Either way, I don't mind, I like to see Miles get opportunities.

Do you have a source? Maybe be true but im just trying to be optimistic, because I dont like the idea of Miles on Melo.

sltrib and desnews are saying that he is doubtful for tonight. Miles will have to be active on offense or otherwise he is gonna get raped by fast break attempts by Meloman.

Man, this sucks that AK is out tonight. I think the league needs to revamp the rule, if a player is injured as a result of a Flagrant foul that calls for a suspension, then the suspended player must be sidelined until the injured player is able to return to action.

other team will pretend that the player is injured for a long time in this case..

I wonder if AK will hop on the plane with the Jazz for their 4-game road trip.

I hear it isn't too bad, but prefer him to get some rest because it still aches. I think he will be back for the Chicago game.
