A stat that says a lot about us

Utah is 26-3 this season when Deron Williams has 11 or more assists.
That means we are moving on offense and guys are hitting jumpers. Despite our defensive lapses at time, we are a great offensive team when DWill has the ball in his hands and running the offense. Let's hope tonight that happens because we need the tiebreaker over a team we could very well be tied with at the end of the year.

Nice point. I also think a stat that says alot about us is we are called for more fouls than any other team in the league, and less fouls are called against our opponents than any team in the league. To me, that sums up what it means to be associated with the Utah Jazz.....you are taking on the entire world. There is a clear league-wide bias against Utah..........

Pretty cool stat. I think you are right and you got an excellent point with it. The opposition's defense has to tighten on Deron if he gets to hot with his passing, and that allows Kirilenko and others for great passing, open jumpers, layups and dunks. See what happened with the Mavs, and those were extreme examples.

We really get the least fouls called on our opponents? That surprises me.

-1 for Malone Strong for being almost exactly wrong on fouls received.
Turns out our opponents get the 3rd most fouls called on them in the league. That makes much more sense to me.

Hubie Brown said it on our nationally televised game against NO. I guess he likes to pull stats out of his a$$. Last time I listen to him....

I'm actually shocked he hasn't had 11 assists more often.
Look at Williams numbers now: 19.2ppg 10.2apg and shooting .514. Damn this guy rules.

Being a PG myself back in the day it also means his teams could also be moving for the pass and breaking at the right times too. I think sometimes Okur or Boozer get tired and lazy and don't move to the passing alley. I'm not discrediting Deron he is difinitely working more and the PG is like the quarterback in football... the main player on the court.

Lolz... saying that Hubie said it is not a good excuse. The man is nearing invalid status... and is in love with every player in the NBA, just because they are in the NBA. I cant stand him.
