Congratzz to the Jazz for b2b 50 win seasons!

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Thu Apr 3, 2008 3:54 am

As bad as the Jazz suck some nights we're still treated to 2 straight seasons of 50 wins or more. That's nothing to sneeze at.

Here's hoping the Jazz can exceed last years win total of 51.

GO JAZZ!
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Congratz... I am glad we rebounded from that sub .500 year with a 41 win season, then a 51 win season, and now hopefully more.

It's a great feeling as a fan of this team to know they are one of the best in the league.. .and still one of the youngest.

Jazz fans have a bright future

Does anybody think we might have a 60 win season next year?

Batronuj is right. Honestly I have a hard time seeing the Jazz break .500 without Williams at the helm. I think he's more of a leader than people give him credit for, as well.

I remember the article on realgm before the season started, something like "Jazz one of many teams not to improve this season". Funny, because we're going to have a better record this season in a MUCH harder league.

Sometimes all it takes to improve a team is to cut some cords and let players develop.

2004-04: 26-56

Jazz draft Deron Williams.

2005-06: 41-41
2006-07: 51-31
2007-08: 50-26 with 6 games remaining.

I think it's safe to say Deron has had a positive influence on this team.

i think that next year they could come close to winning the west. I predict in two years that we win the west and nock on the door for a ring, but we'll see!

If we can figure out how to beat the lottery teams we will definitely be there. We would be there this year if it weren't for those games.

Hornets/Lakers/Jazz should be fun to follow in the next following years.

Don't forget Portland.
