"NBA Comparison: John Stockton"

Post#1 » by Lakers_4_Life » Sun Apr 6, 2008 8:26 pm

This is the video from youtube:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=iE_h9DRAJKs

And on the player's profile page on youtube it states,

"NBA Comparison: John Stockton"

So Jazz fans.......

Is this player really like Stockton and would you be interested in him as a backup point guard? Word on the street is he's looking to join the NBA.

Well, he is better than Hart. That's not saying he is anything like Stockton though.

I found an NBA clip with a bunch of clips from when he was with the Rockets

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OFJfbQDNwM8

Actually, I was kind of just posting this topic in jest when I saw the first clip I posted on youtube when I was looking at new Euroleague clips on there, and I watched it and saw on the youtube channel that his NBA comparison is John Stockton. John Stockton is my favorite point guard ever so this caught my eye.

But you know what after watching that clip and this one here with a bunch of NBA clips,

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OFJfbQDNwM8

I have to say believe it or not I see the comparison. This guy is a huge diamond in the rough that no one knows about. I'd love to get him on the Lakers. Hell, the Clippers should be all over this guy. Dude's talented seriously.

I don't think he has much upside. He like Jazzycabbages are in their prime and can dominate the Euros while being average in the NBA.

Is 25 really prime for a point guard? I'm not sure if it is or not. I think maybe for wing players and power forwards but I don't think it is for point guards and centers.

lawl V-Span... he is the biggest coward and disgrace to greece. He should have stayed with the Rockets and grown a pair rather than discouraging himself and running back to greece.

Considering how NBA fans automatically label any Euro player a horrible defender just because they are Euro it is obvious why the person who made the clip would want to point out that he can defend. After all would not the next Stockton be able to defend?

Anyway funny thing about is I looked him up in Greece and he leads the Greek A1 in assists and flops. :D
