Just check this out. All of the following stats are just a breakdown of the assists total for the season as of 4/7/08, and what they were actually on. Such as if I kickout the pass for a three pointer, then it is a 3pt assist.
These stats will reflect how striking different the Hornets, Jazz, and Suns are and so their point guards. You judge these stats as you may.

I must agree... Comparing Brewer/Kirilenko wing combo to Peterson/Stojakovic is a travesty, but you can see also the jumpshots, something all of them cam do but don't do as often, or at least Paul doesn't make any plays for it often.

Here is what is says to me.
Paul penetrates and dishes for most of his assists.
Deron works the perimeter and finds the open man coming off screens for his assists. Also uses the pick and pop a lot more then the rest of these guys.
And Nash works the pick and roll for his assists.
Probably could have told you that before I saw these stats but still a good find.

Interesting to read, Duiz.
A bit surprised that Deron is THAT low on the 3-point assists. Where do the Jazz rank as a team on 3-pointers? Do we just attempt fewer? Do we just make fewer? Or are other Jazz players getting some of the assists there?
(Also, look at the total assist gap...1-2-3 all within 37 assists, then #4 (Calderon) almost 200 assists behind. That's crazy!)

I remember someone saying in another thread that the Jazz are #29 in the league in 3 pointers attempted per game, so it actually makes sense.

Up to today before the game... Our record is of 385-1013 3pt FG so far for the season.
Compare to nawlings they are 592-1508 3pt FG which is it considerable difference.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/lea ... _2008.html
We are ranked 26th in attempted and made, and rank 5th on 3pt FG%
But our company on made and attempted is pretty sucky, with Sonics, Miami and etc.
