Got my playoff tickets

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Fri Apr 11, 2008 7:01 pm

Just got my tickets for game #1 and #2.

Thought I"d brag.

30.00 seats, so I'll probably be watching the jumbotron, but, it'll be fun to be there.

It's crazy in today's NBA, but I have my playoff tix for $5 a seat in the first round & $10 in the second round - the season ticket holder discount is amazing. You can tell where I sit though by those prices. :)

I'm hoping to pick up a couple free ones from my work. I'm working for a car dealership right now and Toyota has like 10 4th row seats. They're pretty hard to get but I bet I could negotiate something.

5$ a seat? Awesome. You wont find a better bargain for your entertainment dollar anywhere.

I think if you are signed up to their website you get first crack. It was my wife that did it.

I might try to get tickets to a game or two, but I did just buy a nice big flat screen, so Im okay watching from home...but it would be fun to be there.

I am going to the Rockets game on MOnday with some guys from work...one of which is a Rockets fan. :)

I don't think there is anything like watching the game on the arena. Very very fun. I always come out with a headache after the game.

I'll be happy just to see the Jazz play on TV. Living in Orlando is cool, but watching yahoo boxscores is the worst. I'm definitely buying the league pass next year.

I'd rather die.

I grew up in Sugar House which is probably the best place in the Salt Lake Valley, then moved a few miles to the downtown area where I lived for a few years. Then in March I moved to Orlando.

I'll be back to SLC eventually when my wife and I decide to start having kids and stuff.

No kidding... I lived in Orem, and hated it there. I don't hate the mormon church at all, but the mormon extremist culture and the ultra conservative community with a great pack of bubbleness makes it a very tough place to live in.

Orlando is cool, I guess you have Dwight Howard and Disneyworld.

About league pass, we'll there is a way around it. Before and during the game, if you go to the Jazzfanz.com chat, there is a guy who posts the links for league pass games. I guess you can try to catch it up through him.

^^^

Nice, thanks a lot.

Yeah, I have no problem with the church, my wife was raised mormon, I wasn't. She kind of moved away from the religion a bit, but her family hasn't.

Provo just doesn't have a ton of fun things to do, and something about all the little wal-mart districts that are popping up in Utah bother me. I swear you can't drive 5 miles in Utah with out running into some major complex that has a wal-mart, an applebee's, a circuit city, a bed bath and beyond, and like 5 phone stores... and an old navy.

I'm sick of those being the only places to shop in Utah, that part of Utah can go to hell. The rest of it I love.

nosebleed seats really aren't that bad, it's still totally worth the Blang.

I actually like the nose bleeds, great angle to see if a 3 is going to drop. nose bleeds are the best upper bowl seats you can get IMO. Very tip top.
