Absolutely not.

Nobody got hurt, Oberto won't miss anytime for it, and if you watch the replay he is looking at the ball, takes a swipe while the ball is being dribbled and it was wrong place wrong time.

Maybe if it was a punch, or if Oberto didn't have the ball that would be one thing, but that doesn't warrant anything more then a fine.

It may have been out of frustration but there is no way that should cost someone a playoff game. There was no intent to seriously injure someone.

Houston fan??...jk

I agree with Bat, there in no way thats a one game suspension. The only reason Dirk got suspended is because Kirilenko missed 2-3 games and with Okurs record there is no way they give him a suspension.

It was a flagrant foul but I don't think it was fully intentional.

I've done and received the same thing before. Oberto acts as if he was going to lift the ball up, Okur tried to steal the ball by reading Oberto's thoughts and it didn't work.

On a side note Oberto is a huge Puss...he milked that hit for all it was worth. He got hit in the face by Okurs forearm and stayed down for 3 mins, then comes out of the game after the FTs. What happened to him is the equivalent of being hit in the face with the ball.

I'm just glad it was someone Okur's size. Rather than him taking a shot at a PG or something.

That's when I really get mad, when a big guy takes a shot at a little guy.

But, no, I don't expect a suspension. It didn't look intentional to me. It was allready handled. Lets move on. Houston will have to face us at full strength assuming Deron is healthy.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Sometimes the little guys deserve to get picked on during a game.

Flagrant fouls and Technicals dont carry over into the post season it could be upgraded to a Flagrant 2 but thats all. He wont be suspended.

On PTI they just made fun of Oberto saying he's like Vlade Divac with the flopping and both gave it a 0% chance of Memo being suspended

i have to agree

I agree, he and Scola are two of the biggest dirtbags in the league, it will be nice kicking both of their team's asses this postseason.
