It's interesting that they have Denver upsetting the Lakers, which I think isn't totally impossible. Denver is a very dangerous team, and could possibly win it all... except that they would have to play us at home
. Interesting that the Jazz win it here, let's hope it holds true in real life.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

And add that that ESPNs Hollinger is considering The Jazz going to the Finals as well.

But, he suggests we will lose in 6. We might lose in 7, but I dont see Boston taking us a game at home in the finals.
Jazz in 7, uhuuu

i think its unbelievable that people think nuggets have a chance against the lakers.
my fav was steve a smith at the half of jazz vs spurs saying that the jazz are "Wasting our time" and that the nuggets are gonna take lakers to 7 games. i really want to see what he has to see when nuggets get swept.

The finals is a 2-3-2 format. So game 6 would be in Boston. That is part of his reasoning for Celtics in 6.

I don't see the Nuggets beating the Lakers, but I think there were those that were certain that Dallas would take out GS last year easily, too.
If the Nuggets run out a line-up of Iverson, Smith, Carmelo, K-Mart and Camby, that's a tough roster to LA (or any team) to keep up with.
I don't see Fisher or Farmer disrupting AI's game very much, Smith is the streakiest player in the NBA and capable of dropping 30 on any given night.
Kobe is a far superior overall player to Melo, but will certainly have his hands full on the defensive end unless Odom helps out. Gasol will eat K-mart for lunch, but Gasol isn't a wonderful defender and without Bynum, Camby can cheat a lot and pack the paint on defense.
Denver's bench isn't horrible (Najera and Kleiza will bang a lot). The x-factor for me is Odom's play and the Laker bench. I could see this series going 6 games, maybe 7.

As I see it, the Nuggets will either lay down and lose in 4, or really come to play and take it to 6 or 7, possibly even winning. They are a stacked team. Remember, they dropped 160+ points in 1 game this year, granted it was against the Sonics. I know they won't score like that against the Lakers, but it still shows that they have a very potent offense when they are banging on all cylinders.
Don't be so quick to forget that Kobe has done nothing in the playoffs without a dominant center in his lineup and Gasol is a playoff rookie, virgin in fact. Iverson is no slouch when it comes to the playoffs either. The Lakers of this year aren't as dominating as the Mavs of last year were and we all know what happened there.
I really don't expect the Nuggets to beat the Kobes, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did. The west is so deep that even the 8 seed is a dangerous team that could go pretty deep. I bet they are pissed about the bracket they are playing because they got royally owned by the Lakers and Jazz in the season, so they may play angry and be unstoppable. IF they can steal game 1, it will be a long series and hopefully the Jazz will get some much needed days of rest if they can take care of business like they should.

I wouldn't rush myself. The computer iterations don't understand what really is happening so it uses artificial numbers. When I say artificial I like the definition in wikipedia which is "Artificial is something which is not natural. Its original sense, related to artifact and artifice, refers to a product of human endeavor"
Unfortunately, those numbers don't know Barry is back, and Ginobli has healed. Those numbers just base themselves on artificial factors, which by definition are collateral of the team intangibles, such as matchup difficulties, personal improvements or collapses, momentum swings, injuries and comebacks, etc.
