... that we aren't playing the Spurs in the first round. We are in a good place right now.

As much as I agree or disagree with you... Do we really need a new thread? There is the game thread for this.

I'm glad we didn't trade AK.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Ok Duiz, thanks for the input. I wish I had your moderatorish knowhow. I thought that game was over, but whatever.

Well, we gotta beat the best sometime. I don't buy the idea that teams get "worn down." You play hard and smart at all times. The teams who beat the best teams get better prepared.

You guys might be playing the Lakers in the next round. I wouldn't be too happy about that.

If the Jazz play their game they should be able to be very competitive against the Lakers.

It's all about confidence.

Or you might not play anymore after this series and the Lakers end up with the Rockets in the semifinals..

Well, yeah, and the team will look at it that way but...

this wasn't a dominating display by Utah. It seemed like both teams regular grind it out teams were out there. The style, and Houston's impotence on offense really stood out. This is an out of character prediction for me, but any thing less than a sweep is a little disappointing. Carl Landry and Steve Novac won't cut it, even against Ronnie Price. Without Rafer the team is just so thin.It really shows in the playoffs more than the reg. season.

Or the Lakers will be swept, we'll lose the next four, and televisions everywhere will explode when Denver plays Houston.

the series against LA will be great.
They are a great team and this is the kind of team we have to beat if we want to become a champion ball club.
There aren't a lot of weaknesses in their game , but tonight Kobe shot way too much (he didn't shoot well , and his teamates were playing well as you could see when he was on the bench) .
If we can get in Kobe's head , maybe we can disrupt their offense.
