I have watched the documentary, and it is really really inspiring. I forgot the name of it, but truly is amazing the power of a sport in uniting people. Anyways, we need big time Offense for this one.

I may have cursed Game 3 by conjuring all those dead Soviet leaders in the game thread. But we can't possibly go wrong with Sam **** Waterston.

The jazz wont lose to the Rockets again at home. I think the Jazz got a little over confident, and didnt come to play last night. I think they will feel the pressure a little on Saturday and come back with an impressive win....no more of these close games!!!

We just need to put behind us this stupid loss and move ahead.

Yesterday was a classic Jazz over-confident let down game. Just like losing to the T-Wolves and the Clippers.

The Jazz will bounce back tomorrow and win in convincing fashion.

I have 0 doubt that the Jazz win tomorrow by 15 or so and take back all the momentum heading back to Houston to close it out in 5.

Like I said on the general board, Jazz are a terrific bounce back team, and haven't lost two in a row at home all year.

Jazz will come out and execute early and the rest of the team will contribute, not just Deron this time around. If anyone other then Deron had had even an average game the Jazz would have won that game easily.

In addition it's nice that the Jazz lost a game in all honesty they can afford to lose. They can't blow a game like this to the Lakers, but the Rockets aren't such a big deal. No where to go but up from here.

Nice job on the thread. I hope Boozer comes to play sometime this series.

Actor Dan Fogler: Hope this doesn't ruin Deron for anyone, but when I saw this movie I had to laugh out loud at how similar he looked to Williams.

Jazz will win game 4

I was shopping at forever 21 for some clothes for my wife for Christmas, and there is kid who works there who looks exactly like Deron, even acts like him when you talk to him. I could have sworn it was his little brother or something. Had the same round face and everything.

I was at the game last night... disappointing to say the least. I am not worried quite yet about the series, but I think we need to address some issues before we can close this series. We need to get tough and learn how to bang inside with Houston. I haven't seen us get bullied around inside like that for a long time. You can't say enough about free throws... that was probably the most glaring thing about last night's game. I would also really like to see us push the ball more against Houston. I think I remember one fast break from last night. I don't like seeing us slow it down to a walking pace and watch them just pack all 5 guys into the paint.

Anyways... I'm with Bat on this one, we kill them in game 4. Game 5... I'm not so sure about. I'm optimistic though. Jazz in 5.

We just need to get Boozer down on the low post with his back to the basket. Force the Rockets to guard him because I don't think they can.

The Jazz shouldn't be playing outside in like they have, they go inside out which draws double teams and they beat you that way with efficient low post baskets or open jumpers off of double teams.

I want to see Deron averaging 12 points and 16 assists, not 30+ and 10. There is no reason for that in this offense.

If Boozer could make a shot im sure Deron would be more than glad to give it to him. I noticed that Deron almost started ignoring Booze towards the end of the game because they just wernt falling in

i think its about time that our PF starts attacking the basket rather than taking jump shots

I definitely agree.

Deron is being forced to do way too much dribbling around the perimeter. They took away our first option on almost every play in the fourth quarter last night. On Locke the other day they had the Houston GM talking about how the Rockets are trying to make Deron beat them alone. He said statistically that the Jazz' least productive offensive possessions are when Deron is forced to take a three pointer or a mid range jumper. To the Deron-fan that might seem a little odd, but it is true. The Jazz are a hell of a lot better when Deron has +12 assists and 20 points than when he drops 30+ points and everyone else just sort of coasts.

I agree with the the inside out approach too. You need to get the ball deep in the paint to Boozer early... both early in the game and early on each possession. I swear we spent the first 15 seconds of 90% of our possessions last night just running around the perimeter and watching Deron have to reset things over and over.

We get the ball in the paint early and often and we'll destroy them.

And we are way deeper then they are. You noticed in game 2 we were beating them to every lose ball because they were tired. They got two days of rest and killed us in game 3. Again tomorrow there is only one day of rest, the Jazz have been sleeping in their own beds in their own town, we should have a great physical advantage. We should just beat them up by pounding down low, and then getting out and running whenever we can.

Dancing around the perimeter does nothing.

We just need to recommit to the defensive game plan we had in the first two games. We defended so much poorly on picks last night. The team seemed to think that the Rockets would just fold last night under the crowds pressure and they didnt.

Also I am calling out Booze. Dude is struggling against the likes of the oldest man who ever lived, Chuck Hayes, and Carl Landry. Last year he took it Yao's throat. He hasnt done that this year. No disrespect to those guys are good role players, but this dude had been an All-Star the last 2 years. Come on dude.
