It seems that during different points in the series, both teams and fans have been irate with perceived or real concerns with the refs in the series.

Through the first four games -

It seems that the refs are giving an advantage equally to each team while playing on their homecourt.

1st 2 games - Utah 43 pf's, Houston 37, FT's attempted Houston 55, Utah 40

Last 2 games - Houston 51 pf's, Utah 46, FT's attempted Utah 64, Houston 47

I wonder if the 5th game will follow suit with the refs demonstrating somewhat of a homecourt bias. If so, expect to see a marginally discernible advantage for Houston in game 5.

Like I've been saying, this has been a typical NBA playoff series, and I personally think it's a joke to suggest otherwise.

Actually, just about every time there has been a blatant missed call on one end, it is made up for later on. I really don't think either team has really been favored.

I haven't been too upset over any one call all seres. Sure, they've missed some (a lot), and there have been some wrong calls. But, I don't think that the refs have been the deciding factor in any game, and that's all I really ask from the refs.

Home cooking at home? No surprise, that's the way I expect it to go. And it looks like it has followed that pattern pretty well.

Everything considered, I'd take this officiating over a lot of officiating I've have to endure as a fan over the years.

I think the overall officiating in this series has been horrible. Even though it is balanced for the two teams. Collectively it is one of the poorest officiated series I can remember.

My biggest beef with the officiating has been the lack of the defensive three second call. Houston's bigs are camping the lane without guarding anyone, and the refs refuse to blow their whistle on it.

That being said, the Jazz have failed to capitalize by hitting jumpers and creating space on the floor.

The only time I get mad at officiating is if it is clearly unfair on one side of the floor to the other, but this series has been equally crappy for both teams so I can't really complain

As long as everyone is on a level playing field I am happy.
