Jazz vs. Lakers - Eye Candy Version

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Sun May 4, 2008 6:08 pm

I am kinda disappointed nobody wanted to make a thread, but, I think I know why, we're all a little afraid of this game. We don't know which Jazz team is going to show up and we really aren't looking forward to the trolling that will ensue if we lose.

So, this thread is just going to be eye candy. Not basketball related, but, nice to look at win or lose.

PG - Deron (please, call me Darren) Williams

This image is in honor of Deron's sore butt. Hopefully it's as perfect as Jessica's by tip off.

SG - Ronnie Brewer

SF - Andrei Kirilenko

This is to remind us that AK was once pretty good too...

PF - Carlos Boozer
Image
I'm hoping Carlos rolls through the competition. MMMMMMMMMMM Cheesy!

C - Mehmet Okur

In honor of the good job Mehmet has been doing cleaning up the boards.

Poor Atlanta.

Let's hope no one says "poor Utah" later. Like you said, 711: which team will show up?

And regarding no one wanting to make the game thread, I'm trying to stay away because my Soviet thread was our first loss of these playoffs.

Well this is a big game, and for some reason I am going to Disney World instead of watching it. :nonono:

Shame on me.

My self imposed suspension has been lifted. The Rox series is now over, now please please play the way you finished the Rocket series off and carry it over to the Laker series.

In Deron I trust.

I think my absence will only do wonders for the Jazz in this game. Though last time I went to Disney World during a Jazz game they lost to the Timberwolves... :-?

Matt Harpring is killing the Jazz again.....

Ever since he came into the game the Lakers have gone on a run........

Well, I think I"ve seen enough.

The short time between games may have been a problem as teh Jazz look disorganized out there. LOTS of missed assignments. Lots of players WIDE open.

Hopefully game 2 will be a different story.

Jazz players are not ready yet for the next step. It's a mental thing; they're not tough enough.

Big... Huge blowout in the making. I'm not enjoying it.

Well, we've not played that bad. Just a couple of miscues, and the fact that Boozer thinks his teamates wear a white-gold uniform.

Jesus, its just the FIRST half, we have left a TON of guys wide open prolly due to the fact that we only had 1 day to prepare for them, good God people.

Somebody take Boozer off the court.
He is HORRIBLE.

Pathetic defense (especially in transition) and offesne (6 turnovers at the half !? ARE YOU KIDDING ME !?)
Dude is choking BIG TIME in those playoffs.

I think that it is time to really look at the prospect of trading Boozer after the Jazz exit the playoffs against the lakers. Too bad he cant be David West. West is really kicking some butt in the playoffs.

Maybe Boozer will get a triple double. He already had six turnovers.

:noway: This is about what I expected. And next year they get Bynum back. We need to package two of our quasi-stars and get us one more legit SUPERSTAR.

He averaged 33 and swept your team. ROFL about that.

All you guys need is a more productive two. If you had a guy like Raja Bell, wow.

We're pretty lucky to be only down by 13.......

With Boozer playing horribly, Harpring playing awfully, And Deron not playing all the great either, we still have a decent chance to come back and steal this one........

Yea... I was noticing that to, I think I remember him throwing away about 3 passes. Boozer has had a poor playoff series IMO. Also IMO I believe Deron Williams is Utah's MVP and no doubt he should have been in the All-Star game.
