Reasons to be optimistic about game 2

Well, that was a pathetic game by the Jazz, but for the most part I was fairly impressed. The Jazz looked awful and yet were still in the game late, so here are some positive from the game:
1. AK was active offensively and defensively. 5Blks (when was the last time we saw that?)
2. Okur is quietly having good games. 21pt and 16reb today
3. Williams and boozer have yet to hit their stride (I hope).
4. There were tons of open looks for players tonight and we just didn't hit them, eventually those shots will drop.
5. This game was much more fun to watch than the houston series. (seriously, that reverse by Kobe, where he hung in the air for 5 sec was sweet.)

I agree. Actually the 2nd Q was terrible by our bench and then we had to play from behind.
We had ton of open jumpers that we didn't knock down
I was really surprised how well Brewer played D on Kobe. His footwork was excellent.
By Wednesday Jazz will have time to prepare so I think we will take game 2.

BAd second half on both ends .. Fouls ruled the game and runied a really good game.. This is the play-offs fouls on both teams should be real fouls and not ticky tac .
Rebound Off and Def hurt the lakers comming off that other series hurt the jazz..
short prep for each team..next game will be better..

Seriously, Brewer's lateral defense has improved by leaps and bounds in the playoffs.

Jazz will be better in game 2. The rebounding is nice to see, and it will pay off in this series if we can hit a bucket.

we shot realley poor and Deron and Boozer didn't have a good game.
I pray for a win in the 2nd. If not, we are screwed.
Regards.

My reasons to be optomistic...
Dominating the Lakers on the glass, they could not keep us off the boards (25 offensive rebounds is huge).
The Jazz consistently got good looks at the basket, just didn't hit open shots (fatigue could have very well been a factor). Harpring and Korver for the love of God please hit one mid-range jumper!!!
Memo and others played good D on Gasol, we really kept him in check.
Millsap will show up in game 2.

Boozer really really sucked on offense and defense 7 turnovers and the rest of the team didnt even combine for that?, Harpring sucked took a bunch of mid range jumpshots after missing one after the other, Deron's jumpshot sucked. The refs sucked, 23 free throws for Kobe then 23 for the rest of the lakers sucked. But as long as we do what we need to do in utah it will only take one win in LA. And we know LA doesnt compare with Utah. Bunch of stars going whooo(so they dont hurt their voice boxes compared to Jazz fans who have nothing else, so they will let loose.

I agree there's cause to be optimistic. We rebounded very well, stuck with them in spite of terrible shooting across the board, our bench was atrocious beyond description, Boozer played like a hobbled D-Leaguer, and Okur's effort in these playoffs has been amazing.
Carlos, Paul, Kyle, Ronnie, and Matt better look inside themselves before Game 2, though.
