That's what they just talked about on first take on ESPN! Skip says they could win two, however gregg Anthony said no and that there only chance of winning a game is game 2 in LA!That told me all i need to know. People watch Kobe and dont watch the games he plays in. Gregg said that the game was never close! Four points an't ****** close? This better be on the lockers of all the players. Lets go Jazz lets start kickin some ass!

I wonder if they think the Spurs are gonna get swept because NO blew them out in game 1.

the jazz will win a game, game 2 will be a lot closer for the whole game
but the jazz will have the advantage when it goes back to utah, because of how good they are at home

The Jazz will not only win a game, they will win Game 2.

Greg Anthony is an idiot. Last year iirc he predicted the Lakers to go to the WCF and the Jazz to finish 14th in the West.

What a dip sh**. Anyone who watched game 1 saw a competitive game, not at all a series that looks like a sweep.
If anything the loss in game 1 gave me some hope, we can steal game 2 and then defend our home court.

the fact that the jazz played terrible and kobe did his thing and it was still a close game towards the end gives me high hopes
if greg anthony really thinks we are gonna get swept he is a moron

It will help when the Jazz have had the convenience of studying some videos and getting a little more rest (hopefully).
I see three possible common playoff scenarios:
1. Lakers dominate the series: they win games 1 and 2, Utah blows them out in game three or four, and Lakers adjust to win the series in 5. (see spurs vs. suns, jazz vs. warriors last year, spurs vs. jazz last year, hornets vs. mavericks, raptors vs. magic).
2. Jazz dominate the series: they win game two and win every home game, taking it in 6.
3. Jazz gradually improve each game, learning and adjusting until a fateful game 7 in LA. the game is a hard-fought and close throughout, giving the Jazz a chance to win (Jazz vs. Houston last year). Anyone could win this one.
I think the series will go one of those three ways.

a week ago i would have said the jazz not winning a game was crazy but after how much trouble the rockets gave u, well u never know.
But my prediction is you'll come out on fire next game. The only reason i think we win game 2 is Kobe is getting presented his MVP trophy and i dont see u raining on that guys parade. But Game 3 i think is all u guys. After that its a toss up.

i'd say that 4-2 against a team than won 22 in a row without homecourt advantage is pretty solid.

No doubt it was a solid series and the rockets are a decent team. I was more surprised by the trouble they gave u at home. Since the playoffs started it was like u guys were unbeatable there but they showed that not to be true. Plus the fact that the Lakers broke your guys home winning streak without Gasol.
I'm in no way saying were gonna sweep u guys, just pointing out that after the Houston series its not too far fetched. I predict Lakers in 5. I said in 6 before but it seems u guys have no one to match up with Bryant at all.
And by the way Skip Bayless is a idiot.

Well he also predicted Lakers were gonna win last year when they were up 3-1 against the Suns and he predicted the Rockets were gonna beat the Jazz last year, so I guess its a good thing he has the Lakers winning this series.

I think the Jazz will hold serve at home, and I expect them to be in at least one game in LA down to the last possesion where anything can happen.

That Houston team was better than anyone gave it credit for being.
People look at the roster and only see one guy who is capable of being a go-to option, and write them off as a non-threat.
But they proved the importance of team work and tenacity in this league. It was much less about what was/is wrong with Utah and much more about what's right with the Rockets. People looked at that series like a gimme, and the Rockets would have given any team in the West some serious trouble.

While I think that the Jazz could have dispatched of the Rockets more quickly if they had been playing up to their capabilities, I have to agree that the Rockets deserve a lot of credit as well. Like you said, they may not have much offensive firepower, but they've got great chemistry, they play together, they're tough, they're scrappy and they've got one of the best defenses in the league.

Stop sucking up, the Jazz had one player play way above his head and they got lucky on the boards. They're not that great of a rebounding team they finished 24th in the league.
So all those boards was a mirage, that won't happen again bank it.

Yeah, that team reminds me of the 03-04 Jazz team. A bunch of young unproven guys who came together and worked harder then everyone. If that team had had T-mac they also would have won at least 48 games that season... unfortunately it would have been a first round bounce as well.

I really think that the Jazz win this series. Reason being..........none. They don't need a reason from me and neither should you.
