I know everyone is waiting for bat or utj to make the thread, but i'm really feeling it tonight. so:
YOUR UTAH JAZZ ARE:
Deron Williams: Iron Maiden
Despite a lack of media attention and mainstream support, Iron Maiden have made a name for themselves on pure attitude and unprecendented success, rocking hard every night.
Ronnie Brewer: Radiohead
Fresh and Original, Radiohead manages to do their own thing whilst others around them are mediocre.
Andrei Kirilenko: Lindsay Lohan
Clearly anorexic and subject to the occasional emotional breakdown, Lindsay could still probably kick your ass when provoked.
Carlos Boozer: Metallica
Usually known for being talented and relentless, lately they've pretty much just sucked.
Memo "my nizzle" Okur: Snoop Dogg
He may not speak english or seem all the way there, but at least he keeps things interesting.
VS. THE LOS ANGELES LAKERS:
Derek Fisher: The (one hit) Wonders
Nice dudes with colorful personalities, but this group of musicians was not known for sticking to something for an extended amount of time. (ha j/k fish...maybe)
Kobe Bryant: Michael Jackson
Flashy, talented and succesful...with an audacity for inciting general malice and bitterness on his behalf.
Vladimir Radmanovic: The Unicorns
Who?
Lamar Odom: Tesla
They can rock when they need to, but just aren't your "center stage" type of band. They're place will forever be opening up for a bigger act.
Pau Gasol: The Used
Pretty much had success handed to them on a silver platter.
time to rock the lakers.
