Carlos Boozer is useless, dumb, and lacking heart.

Post#1 » by JStockLivesOn » Thu May 15, 2008 5:54 am

I am beyond disgusted. Before, I was annoyed. Then I got a little mad. Then I thought he was a disgrace. Now? I'm so far past that that it's impossible for me to articulate what I think of him.

It's not just that he's a bad defender. It's that he's a lazy defender, and he doesn't give a **** about competing on that end. All he cares about is getting it back on offense so he can jack up another leaner or lose the ball in traffic, then shout at the top of his lungs for a foul that he should KNOW by now he's not going to get, especially in LA.

Go **** yourself, Carlos Boozer. You're a pussy, a coward, and a buffoon. I hope you crawl into a hole and never emerge again if you're truly satisfied being this pathetic, without even TRYING to correct your abysmal woes.

I blame Sloan for giving too many crucial minutes to that pussy.

Post game grades:

A: Deron, CJ

B: Brewer, AK

C: Memo

D: Price, Korver

F: Boozer, Harpring, Millsap

+1 to everything you said

I can honestly now say that Carlos Boozer, the guy we thought and was at one time a superstar, and all star (an all star THIS year), is the worst jazz man on this team. this guys needs to sit next to collins and hart and worry about what commercials he can start doing this summer.

im purely disgusted, **** you carlos boozer.

i know by heart that with a rotation of okur, millsap and collins, we could've beat LA tonight. I was so sure boozer would bounce back, what a heartless piece of **** this guy is. sloan is faulty for still playing him, he is now a huge liability on both ends.

A Boozer bashing thread. Just what I need to come of lurkdom.

I understand people have slumps, or even a bad series, but not an entire playoff run. Especially if you are going to call yourself an all-star. Boozer needs to step up. He is absolutely worhtless. I feel like he is worse than what Memo was last year. At least Memo was trying to play defense.

I honestly cringe more when Boozer is handling the ball or takes a shot, than I do when AK does something with the ball. And that is saying something.

+1. Good game til the 4th, and he played like a little girl from there out. He has got to do some serious soul searching and become more emotional about stuff. We don't want a T-Mac type "superstar" on our team...

i say a jazz man should never make it to the all star team, its bad luck

In Game 6 if Boozer isn't hitting his midrange jumpshot or driving to the hoop and actually finishing instead of being a pussy then put Millsap in, they won't be calling those ticky tacky fouls in Utah. Okur flopped like a jerkoff on that last play I couldn't believe it, then Boozer flails his arms in the air like a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) instead of trying to hit that ball out of Gasols hands or atleast foul the **** out of him.

I don't know why Sloan gives so many minutes to Harpring when he saw what CJ Miles was doing early, being aggressive and hitting a jumpshot. Less Harp more CJ, Brewer needs to go post Kobe if he's gonna give him a big cushion and Brew is gonna be a brick man. Williams will lead Utah to a game 6 win and then anything is possible in a 1 game series.

I am more convinced than ever that we need to trade him

4th quarter Boozer highlights:
7:19 - Boozer Jump Shot: Missed
6:56 - Boozer Layup Shot: Missed Block: Vujacic (1 BLK)
6:01 - Boozer Turnover:Traveling (3 TO)
4:29 - Boozer Free Throw 1 of 2 missed
4:06 - Boozer Alley Oop Layup shot: Missed

how much more can 1 player F up in a critical 3 minute span?

Nice to hear an honest opinion from brave men.
I think Boozer is bad passer of double-team and the Jazz do not spread the defense enough for him.

On the defensive end he struggles to play help defense and cover Odom at once.
I should be on Lacob payroll...

As bad as he was offensively yesterday , the problem is really not at this end of the floor. He is a very good offensive player , we all know that.

The problem is that he is an awful defender. I'd like to say his help defense is the worst , but he is just as bad when it comes to man to man defense.
Dude is completely terrible.
He has been dominated by LAMAR ODOM in this series. Lamar Odom.
Okur is also a sub par defender , and the two together are a nightmare to watch : Gasol and Odom are both scoring 18+ points on 60%. Sixty percent !!

Ouf offense is good , even with a struggling Boozer. Our defense though is the worst remaining in the playoffs . And that , is death for us.

Odom Layup Shot: Made (2 PTS) Assist: Radmanovic (2 AST) Boozer Foul:Shooting (1 PF) Odom Free Throw 1 of 1 (3 PTS)

Millsap Foul:Personal (2 PF) Odom Free Throw 1 of 2 (4 PTS) Odom Free Throw 2 of 2 (5 PTS)

Boozer Turnover:Bad Pass (2 TO) Steal:Vujacic (2 ST) Odom Driving Layup Shot: Made (7 PTS)

Odom Layup Shot: Made (9 PTS) Assist: Fisher (1 AST)

Odom Floating Jump shot: Made (11 PTS) Assist: Fisher (4 AST)

Millsap Foul:Shooting (3 PF) Odom Free Throw 1 of 2 (14 PTS) Odom Free Throw 2 of 2 (15 PTS)

Odom Layup Shot: Made (13 PTS) Assist: Bryant (5 AST)

Odom Slam Dunk Shot: Made (17 PTS) Assist: Bryant (6 AST)

Odom Driving Dunk Shot: Made (19 PTS) Assist: Gasol (8 AST)

Odom Slam Dunk Shot: Made (22 PTS) Assist: Bryant (7 AST)

First, Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol could be All-Stars in the East.
Lamar Odom does not dominate Carlos Boozer on one-to-one. Odom plays mostly off Bryant. Odom scores on Okur and he sends Millsap in foul trouble. BTW, Gasol had 21 points and 8 assists.

I was mad on Boozer after Odom-Gasol give-and-go play when Carlos played stupid close defense on Odom far behind perimeter and allow that driving dunk.
I should be on Lacob payroll...

Memo didn't do to well in this game. I haven't expected anything from boozer, that way I don't feel like destroying something after the game. But we have to be careful how much we hate on him or people might catch on before we can trade him.

Funny thing is the only time Okur was on Odom, he played good defense forcing him to a terrible shot. I have no idea why Sloan didn't try to switch Boozer and Okur on defense. Probably because Gasol would eat Boozer alive worse than Odom was eating him. I wanna say that Odom is a bad matchup for Boozer (he is actually) but anybody is a bad matchup for Boozer on defense. He can't guard and he can't help anyone at all. Boozer is playing Odom way too tight. Odom is just gonna run right past him every time. Give him room, force him to shoot.

Its a problem when Ak is taking a clutch shot down the stretch from the out side!We cant trust Boozer and Okur had his first bad shooting night! You take a slow footed Turkish man and give him an ankle injury and you have a desaster! Then add Boozer not knowing what the H***is going on and the entire paint is the lakers game over! And it was still close that's how bad the Lakers were shooting that won't happen again! We are toast in seven I think! We will never lose it in our house but can we saddle up for a win in L.A., I don't know.
