Hooray, we finally have a thread dedicated to trading the walking ball of estrogen!

Here's what I think we should look for in return:

Young defensive center (a la Okafor or Dalembert)
Expirings (space to resign D-Will, Millsap, etc.)
Picks to sell? (Phoenix Suns-style)
Gift cards to Chilis
Albi the Racist Dragon

Anything else, let me know and I'll add it to the list. Post your offers now!!!

i'm not against this thread, but i think it's close to useless to fantacize about trading Carlos. the Jazz will not do it. It will take another year of sucking before anybody pulls the trigger, unfortunately his trade value will be shot by then.

right now, people still seem to think he's good. he's getting far too much benefit of the doubt, considering this is NOT A PLAYOFF SLUMP, Boozer has sucked since February! (it seems like nobody is getting this)

anyway, here would be my choices:

1. Al Horford, straight up (maybe even throw in hart or collins)
2. Elton Brand, but only if we got more in the deal
3. Lebron James and Daniel Gibson (ha!)

I'm afraid of getting Brand. IMO he's past his prime and going to be injured far too often.

I like the Horford pick, or possibly Okafor (which is ironic considering he is also injury-prone, but he's still young -- also a frontline of Okur and Okafor would be OK *weak joke*), or maybe Daly from Philly. Basically anyone young who can consistently block a shot. I really think a strong defender with no offense will help our defensive efficiency enough to counter his lack of scoring

Andrew Bogut would be about the only player I would be interested in getting in a trade involving Boozer.... I agree Carlos hasn't been great since February, but it seems that in the past 2 years every player but Deron has had a big slump, and then bounced back the next year with great play (AK, Okur.... Harpring (back to his old self again), Miles to some extent)... Carlos is still young, as is the rest of this team. These playoffs are going to be a great learning experience for him, and if he works hard in the off season, I really see no reason to trade him.

Carlos shouldn't need two rounds of mediocrity to "learn" he should play with effort.

unbelieveable wishful thinking but hell ill throw it out there.

Boozer
Almond
2008 1st
2010 NY pick

for Amare

I know amare isnt a good defender either but the jazz arent a terrible defensive team they just dont have a shot blocking presence, amare would give that explosive shot blocker we need and amare can score better then boozer, boozer has a better post game but amare would be a significant improvement. And on the other side for the suns they have to dominant post bigs Boozer and Shaq.

Fixed, although it would still be incredibly unfair for the Jazz

hey! we are not eliminated so let's go to support our team and ALL our players!

Go Carlos, Go Jazz!

The Bucks would never trade Bogut for Boozer, unless we sweetened the deal considerably. I'd do it in a heartbeat, though.

I'm with FJS on this one. Shut off the bus, You can throw Boozer under it when the season is over.
I Equate this with the New York Giants this year, I'm a huge fan by the way     , Everybody on the New York Board I frequent had been running over Eli Manning hitting reverse and running him over again and again...................Well we all KNOW how that turned out.
I still think they have a shot if they win tonight. It seems like every game in LA has been just a couple plays away from winning, all they need is the same effort as last game, with Boozer at his season average and Milsap decent off the bench and we are off to the west final.

Let's wait until after the season to start talking about changes to the team, who to move and what the next step for the Jazz will be.

In case any of you forgot, we have a game 6 tonight against the Mother Effing Lakers, and we need Booz to play to get this done!

If Boozer can bounce back tonight and lead us to victory in game 7 you wont see another thread like this.. EVER! His lack of effort has really gotten to me, but we cant forget the type of player he can be when he's playing.

You guys just dont understand, trading Boozer would kill this teams chemistry. Him and Deron have a good thing going, and unlike Stock and Malone, this time we've got a very good supporting cast around them. Hold off on the Fire Sale for Boozer comments, it's just a waste of time stay focused on the game at hand!

GAME SIX BABY!! TAKE IT TO THESE HOLLYWOOD PUSSIES.

Wait wait, I've got a new idea......trade him for a solid all-around SG or SF, and slide AK to the 4 and possibly Brewer to the 3. AK is a little weak going up against a lot of PFs, but he would STILL be an improvement defensively over Boozer.

So really, we could trade him for whatever the best of a 2/3/4/5 we could get, and just slide our line-up. If it comes to it, that is a LOT of flexibility......
