Good Season
Regardless of the outcome tonight.
We had an impressive stretch when we went 16-16 and then going 38-12 from there. Jazz are young, but we are officially back as a franchise. We just need some growth, seasoning and we will be a west contender in a yr or two.
Big ups to everyone that didn't bail or is off the bandwagon now.
See you all for the draft and RMR, have a good summer.
Go Jazz!

Jazz fan when it shines and a jazz fan when it rains.
very good to know that we are such a young team and are already up the contending for a title. i think we can make a better pg out of price next year, Millsap is already a beast, 6th man of the year next year if he continues to play like that.
After seeing the heart they showed tonight, im really pround, this game was over at half but our floor general pushed and made it a game, congrats Deron for another amazing season

Agreed with the above. You always want to be hosting the trophy after your last game of the season, and I'm naturally disappointed that we didn't win it all.
But we are young, we have talent, and we just happened to run into a buzzsaw in the Lakers. I'm not ashamed of what we accomplished this year.
I don't think we should stand pat this offseason, but I don't think drastic changes are necessary, either. Tweak the roster with some hard-nosed, defensive veterans backing up the 1 and 5 and we could go places.
GO JAZZ.

Although we ended a little sooner then I thought we should have, I think that the Jazz did very well this season. We have nothing to be ashamed of. I think that all of the Jazz have meet my expectations, granted some of those expectations were not that high. Now we can look forward to the off season and what kind of deals KO can and will make.

I'm still a little stung and depressed from last night but I still think this season was sorta unsuccessful, yes we made it back into the playoffs and into the 2nd round again, but I think at this point we are a contender and to be knocked out of the playoffs on our homecourt is absolutely unacceptable.

ESA is an amazing home court. I definitely underestimated it.
Good luck next season in Utah. Thanks for the great series.

Agreed. You guys get major props for frustrating us this series. You guys are a really good team and will be super-dangerous with one more roster upgrade. You guys are a great team, and its a shame certain (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Jazz fans are the way they are. I know the ones on this board are classy and IMO the true representative of Jazz Fan Nation. I look forward to taking on you guys in the Western Finals next season after you guys finally break through San Antonio.
Know this though. Don't view a Semifinal loss this season as a failure. With the way this Western Conference was loaded this season, you guys actually accomplished what in other seasons would have been the equivalent of a Western Conference Finals berth. Respect.

In the preseason I stated that a realistic successful season would consist of two things...
50 wins, and at least a 6 game second round series.
I got both of those so I should feel happy, and knowing the Jazz could possibly win the West all together next year also makes me happy.
Lets hope for a great off season and another good year next year.

I love the Jazz. I love that they made a hell of a game out of what should have been a blowout. Tough as nails, and only going to get better. They just have to mature and learn to not miss out on opportunities, as there were many in the 2nd round. The Lakers will take it all IMO (screw them though...)
I love watching these players mature and thrive under pressure, but it is so frustrating to watch some players digress and crack under the pressure of big games. This team has a lot to learn, a couple of years at least before they can be a true contender to the crown the Lakers are about to win. I'm afraid they may have a possible destiny on their hands, but the Jazz will ALWAYS be there to play hard and create some big upsets.
Thanks guys for putting up with my stupidity and stuff. I'll check in now and again, but not regularly like during the season. Let's get some good moves in this off-season! We'll get things going smooth again next season!

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Top three? And Easily? Lakers, Spurs, and Hornets are considerably better and theres a whole tossup of teams you could argue for. Didn't even mention the Celts.

Don't get me wrong they're defiently a top tier team, I think thats been well established but lets not get hasty here. Elite status has not been established. Neither are the Rockets and Im not even starting to aruge that they are so lets leave that out of the argument.

LOL @ the Hornets being better than us.. We would wipe the floor with them in a 7-game series and even their fans can attest to that..
With that said I'd say we're a top-5 team with the Lakers/Spurs/Detroit better and a toss-up between the Jazz/Boston.

I still don't think the Hornets are one of the legit top teams in the league. They have been playing well all season, but I find it difficult to believe they will be in this same position next season.
The Jazz are a top 3 team in the West IMO, with the Spurs and Lakers in front of them. Otherwise the Jazz are at least at the same level as every other playoff team. And I do believe the Jazz would most likely win a 7 game series against any team in the East, at the very least it would go 7.

Love My Jazz.
We'll I'll say top 4 with SA, LAL, and NO. Either way, we need homecourt over SA and LAL next season, and honestly I don't think it's an impossible task. Basically if we play like we did in every month except December, we'll have a shot.
I wouldn't mind dumping Collins, and getting a vet.
