Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...

That takes a load off my mind. Doesn't even make me worry about the Boozer being targeted by Miami thread.

Deron is really a gem ,and the fact that he doesn't even hesitate to resign here shows why he will be such a good guy to build around . He is an amazing player and a great leader with that.

Actually i think he believes too much in this team. He has said that he wanted the same group to open up training camp next year , but unlike him i do not think Utah can win a title with this group. They need a significant improvement defensively inside to beat the Lakers (with bynum) in the future.
The fact that Deron doesn't want the group to change may be a mistake from this standpoint.

Anyway , Boozer in Miami next summer is a realistic scenario. If he doesn't bounce back next year from those playoffs , he will probably be really interested in a future in Miami where his family leaves.
Unless he improves dramatically defensively , i'm not even sure i would miss him if he does leave...

Good for you guys. As you saw against the Lakers he is clearly your MVP and franchise player. I really wanted him to come to the knicks. Oh well.

Good luck to you guys, your franchise deserves a ring eventually for all the screw jobs, er-hem, losses to the Bulls.

What do you want him to say? I think Boozer and AK shopuld go and get more talented players around me. We need to make the right moves to compete next year. No worry in my mind kinda like the Boozer to miami but why wait? Lets trade him before he leaves us next year for more money and his offseason home.

I'm surprised people were actually worried about D-Will comin back to us. There was no way the franchise was gonna let him go, they would have matched every offer imaginable if he didn't re-up with us.

Yeah, I am also surprised anyone was worried about D-Will returning. I figured he would be a Jazz man for most of his career since the day they drafted him.

i would be lying if i said i wasn't relieved to hear some of the quotes from williams...to be honest i didn't know exactly what his mentality was, and if he'd leave for a more prestigious location when given the opportunity.

about him saying he wants this same group intact come training camp, i think he said the right things...he's not about to throw anyone under the media bus this year.

Right now one of my concerns is CJ...i really think the Jazz would be foolish to not find a way to keep him around and give him ample playing time. He has so much potential in my eyes.

No surprise here either, but still nice to read. The fact that it's happening sooner rather than later is a good omen.

Lets hope he doesn't go Kirilenko on us.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

A friend proposed this to me: Marion for Kirilenko and Brewer. I think I'd do it. Marion only has one year left on his contract, and I really think he could be a fantastic player for us too. While I love Brewer, sacrifices would have to be made to get a very good player in return for Kirilenko, who's trade value has dipped quite a bit.

Okur
Boozer
Marion
Korver or Miles (?) with Almond getting a great chance to contribute
Williams

I don't think we could be any worse honestly.

Although I think Marion is a great player, he wanted out of Phoenix 'cause he was the 3rd or 4th option there. He'd be the 4th option here too. I'd rather have AK and Brewer over Marion at this point.

i really expect brewer to work on his shooting and defensive footwork this offseason and come back stronger again; i think we should hold onto him.

Marion is too much of a whiny bitch to be on this team. No thanks. I would rather keep AK, he has gotten the whiny bitchness out of his system it seems.

Grats to DWill, he will be worth every penny. Nobody deserves it more than him.

After hearing Deron is going resign with the jazz made me extremely happy ^^; I think he's the only player on the jazz that plays with alot of heart and tries his very best to try and help the team win while other players on the team simply disappear from the game.

TY Deron, I'll forever be ur fan :wizard:
