I wouldn't start Wilcox at the 5, but that's definitely a trade I'd take a look at. I hate giving up Almond in that deal because our deep wealth of swing players suddenly looks thin, but I understand why we'd have to.
I don't have much use for Petro or Sene, but I presume they're just filler to bring in the competent back-ups, Watson and Wilcox.
I wonder how Seattle would feel.

Sorry, I'm not a Wilcox fan. I would rather keep Almond and see what he has. I wouldn't do this trade even if we weren't giving up 2 picks.

What's with everyone throwing Almond out the window?

I think everyone thinks his value is the highest of players that aren't Brewer, who we want to keep because he's a proven commodity.

So if we somehow got up to say a tenth pick who would we have available for us to draft at Center? I really haven't been watching the Mocks and all that.

So now in order to read a decent trade proposal from a decent poster I have to dig through pages of garbage? Why the hell do they always sticky these things, especially during the off-season when the board is otherwise dead? I would much rather know the teams involved in the deal, and more importantly the poster proposing it BEFORE I read through page after page....but hey, thats just me.

Seems like half the board doesn't like wading through one long thread, the other half doesn't like scouring multiple threads on the same topic. I don't much care either way...maybe there should be a poll?

Trades get lost and glossed over if there is just one trade thread.
(i wouldn't mind one thread for news articles though, I wold be willing to compile a bunch of links for news article of the day about the jazz.)

I prefer individual threads for each trade proposal.

I also like individual trade threads. I read realgm almost daily but dont post much at all. However, seeing the topic and who posted says alot about the trade and wether I will have much interest in reading it. I dont much like the idea of a stickied trade thread at all. When this thread gets to twenty pages, I likely wont even open it. Plus individual threads make it more easy to follow replies to the trade and what others think.
Stay with individual threads

my vote is for the individual trade threads. I do like the idea of a news thread.
