The Jazz still have #$!@* Hart

Post#1 » by JDubJazz » Wed May 28, 2008 11:12 pm

Its being reported that he has excercised his option for next year @ $2.5 mil. Say what you want, but the man isn't stupid. Feel free to post your laments here.

All I can really say is I'm praying he ends up as filler in some trade.

Prior to signing his contract he had a very successful run with the Clippers and nothing in his past suggested he would be this crappy.

Of course he was gonna exercise his option, he is still very movable, small expiring contract.

As a starter he had a very brief successful run, but his role wouldn't be the same here

We'll probably use him as a filler for a trade.. ESPECIALLY if we re-sign CJ.

He's an ideal trade throw in. Decent contract expiring, and a PG who in all honestly has shown some brief runs of success with other teams.

They do when players like Alan Henderson are in as filler. There would be no reason for Hart to accept anything less than the full guarantee.

He's still a useful practice player and can be used in spot minutes when the situation demands.

He's not hurting the Jazz any and as was pointed out, he's easy to trade. The only person that should be worried about Jason Hart is Larry Miller, as he's the one signing his paychecks.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Question now is, with Price and Hart with guaranteed money will the Jazz take a back up PG with any picks? I want them to take Chalmers and give Fes time. Fes is under contract for a while so a second year of him in Orem (where every young Ukrainian yearns to be) isn't out of the question. I hope they can take Collins and Hart and consolidate them into a slightly better 12th man.
