Thank you Lakers...

for proving that the Jazz are at least the second best team in the Western Conference. Personally, the Spurs were never in this series. The Jazz played the Lakers much better. If not for a few calls here and there and a few more things going our way, we would be talking about the Jazz in the NBA finals.

The Spurs would have won at least two games against us, maybe even beaten us, so I'm not sure it's a fair comparison. That said, it was extremely satisfying to see the Lakers run right over SA.

Utah don't match well with the Spurs, and let's say if the Jazz had beatin' the Lakers, we probably would've lost the series with the Spurs. u.u Feel free to disagree with me, but it's the simple truth. xD

Yeah, I'm not convinced that we can win at SA until we actually do. With Ginibili being so ineffective for 3 out of 5 games, I think we beat them all three in Utah. Not to mention, Memo showed up for the playoffs this year, but Boozer didn't. With the way we played LA vs. the way SA played LA, you'd have to feel good about our chances, but they own us until proven otherwise. That may not be the best logic but that's just the way it is.

I just think the Jazz match up with the Lakers better. Plus Deron >>>Parker Okur >>> Any big man not named Duncan.

lol... umm that proves absolutely nothing. SA made it to the WCF, so that says they are the West's 2nd best team.

SA owns us, and if you think LAL beating SA 4-1, and LAL beating us 4-2 means we are a better team just shows how little you know about the game of basketball.

Defense wins championships (or Kobe Bryant) and until we devote our self to being a better defensive team it's going to be a similar story every year.... close but no cigar.

SA is getting old. They will be a very different team next year, for sure.

I tend to agree, I think. We had a good season and there's no shame in losing to the Lakers in 6. It's also incredibly satisfying seeing San Antonio fail, just because I hate them. But I wish we were still playing instead of searching for moral victories.

I would wear that T-Shirt, since I usually don't win. But still, it does give me some solace knowing the team I wanted to win at least lost to the conference champs.
Go team! (The one I want to win, preferably)
