Interesting Kobe Stat

"Bryant attempted only 11 free throws in this series [spurs] after attempting 96 against Utah" [ESPN]

Normally these little tid bits in the article don't catch my attention, but this was a very interesting stat. Kobe had more in a single game against the jazz , than he did in the WHOLE series against SA.

And the Jazz had one more win than the Spurs.

I hope we can find a stopper this summer. Unlikely, but I can hope.

While the Jazz definitely did foul Bryant too much and the Spurs made a conscious effort to keep him off the line, if you honestly think that Bruce Bowen and Tim Duncan don't get away with a lot of contact that nobody on the Jazz can get away with, you're delusional.

Bingo.
Although our interior defense being terrible was a part of Kobe getting to the line at will, none of the Jazz players have the reputation as good defenders as Bowen or Duncan have. If Brewer guarded Kobe the way Bowen did, he probably would have fouled out of every game before halftime.
