Jazz/Raptors

Post#1 » by T33 » Thu Jun 26, 2008 6:23 pm

Jazz Trade: 23rd Pick, 44 and/or 53rd pick
Receive: Jamaero Moon

Raps Trade: Jamaero Moon
Receive: 23rd Pick, 44 and/or 53rd pick

Maybe We could toss in Hart or Collins :D

Why?
Now that Roy Hibbert is pretty much out of the question for the jazz and I don't think the Jazz Managment are as high as some of us are on Alexis Ajinca. So if we trade our picks seeing as we don't need more rookies at the moment. We could get Moon who gives us good D and some options to either move AK or he can replace harpring when his day comes. The Raptors have traded players in the Pacer deal that leaves them short handed. With these picks they can solidify their roster up.

Thoughts?

No thanks. Moon is a nice story, but he's a role player on the wing, and we don't need more of those unless someone is outgoing first. If we're going to move out of the draft altogether, let's do it for a productive big man and/or PG help, not more small forwards.

And a first rounder and two seconds is way too much for him anyway.

We've got AK's replacement in CJ already on the roster, and Harps has a year MAYBE left. No need to add to the clusterphuck we have going on at 2-3.

If we're unable to move down, Utah will make their selection and go into training camp with a solid roster... poised to make a run in the Western Conference.
