I remember people saying that players on Team USA would get on his case about his defense, and I think it may have happened already. This was just one game, but I think he did nice overall in limited minutes. I mean one of the blocks was quite monstrous for Boozer too.

Uh, did you see who they were playing? John Stockton could have done that too.

Yeah Deron Williams had a sick block as well. We'll see how much defense Booz plays against tougher competition.

I heard Harp had a NASTY block at his kids summer camp...a sign of things to come?

That was nothing. Bill Murray destroyed that kid's soul in Rushmore.

Carlos Boozer also sent a Tim Duncan dunk attempt back down his throat in the 2007 WCF. That wasn't exactly a harbinger for last season.

I was more concerned with his only playing 8 minutes. Is Bosch that much better than him. Is Boozer still in his slump? I have read where he will be the 12th man. That is not really good news for us.

You guys are terrible!Baby steps are good too for Booz on defense!
I agree through i would be concerned on Bosh playing more then Booz.I hope he is just a product of the numbers game.I think he'll be fine. How many minutes did D-will play?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jason Kidd fall out of favor to both Deron and Paul mid olympics. He may still start the games, but Deron and Chris should be playing the majority of the minutes.
Kidd just isn't as good of a player as Deron and Paul are.

I think Boozer will get more playing time against better teams because, aside from Howard, he is the only real big man on the team (Bosh is just so skinny and Melo and Bron don't really count as big man) and the best teams in the world have much stronger frontcourts than Canada does (at least without Dalembert and Magloire).
As for Deron, he played very well, although he didn't get many minutes at point guard. He and Paul both looked really good and they were great playing together. It'll be interesting to see how much Coach K uses that combo once LeBron is healthy.

Coach K will deal with the egos well. Not in a ridiculous egotistical way, but in a way that rewards hard work. Bosh got a lot of play against Canada, as most Bosh fans are Canadian and the game was out of hand. In the next blowout Booz may get the extra time. Booz might also get the short end of the stick since Coach K and Booze are likely on better personal terms than the others. I dunno.

Coach K is a worthless pile of ****.
... not pertinent to the conversation. Just nothing that.

Booz will play more, Coach K was his college coach. He'll play more. I want to see him and Dwil run the pick n roll more though.
