First off, don't call me a hypocrite for adding Deron...
There are also three more parts to this question
1. Why did you select the player?
2. Who else, if anyone do you think would be included?
3. Who are the best trade partners for the Jazz? (list the players you think the Jazz might be able to get from each team)

1. Boozer seems to be the most expendable after his performance in the end of last season, the playoffs, and Olympics. I don't think Boozer will be traded, but if I had any say he would be the most expendable.
2. I have no clue, but If I were to trade anyone else it would be Collins, Harpring, Millsap or Almond.
3. LAC- Kaman, Thornton, Gordon
MIL- Bogut, Redd, Villanueva
CHI- Deng, Gooden, $10 mill TE, Hughes, Noah, Gordon

Deron Williams for Jamal Tinsley and Brandon Rush and the right to exchange second rounders.

I picked AK and "yes" as my options.
While I think Boozer has the most value and questionable loyalty, he would seem to be the best candidate. From a personal level, I wouldn't mind seeing him traded. That being said, AK will be the one the Jazz move. He's too prone to sulk when he isn't involved, and its obvious that, while greatly improved from two seasons ago, his attitude is not where it used to be. He can be a terrific help defender, but in the Jazz's team defensive scheme, that could be overrated. He isn't the shot blocker he used to be and his one-on-one perimeter "d" is just ok.
As far as "filler" goes, I see Ronnie Brewer, Matt Harpring and Paul Millsap as the most likely candidates. Brew looks good, butI'm not convinced he should be a starter until he proves his offensive game is more than just dunks. Harpring is coming to the end of his usefulness, but his toughness still has value. Millsap would hurt to lose, but I think he is vastly overrated by most Jazz fans. I don't see him as a starting caliber forward on a championship team.
Trade partners are tough to find. I think the Jazz and Blazers (Aldridge, Pryzbilla, Outlaw and others) could really help each other out, but there is a major disincentive to do so given that they reside in the same division. Atlanta (M Williams, Johnson) also has some pieces that could be interesting as does Milwaukee (Redd) and Houston (Battier, Scola, even [gasp!] T-Mac).

I want Boozer out. I would prefer to have Kaman, Brand, Jefferson, or so many other much more reliable players. His presence is what makes our offense go nuts, but the same reason why our defense is as tough as creme brulee.
