The SCOR System is a statistical compilation of 4 complicated ranking systems compiled from different statistical formulas. There are two seperate statistical rankings calculated in the SCOR System: The SCOR Rating, and the SCOR Value. The SCOR Rating assigns each player a rating. This value is a statistical representation how effective a player is. The SCOR Value takes a players SCOR Rating, and compares that rating to their individual salaries. Using this comparison, you can determine whether or not a player is "worth" their paycheck.
http://thesaltpalace.blogspot.com/This is a pretty interesting statistical ranking system, it has the Jazz players ranked like this:
Most Effective NBA Players:
16 = Deron Williams
25 = Carlos Boozer
35 = Andrei Kirilenko
37 = Ronnie Brewer
46 = Paul Millsap
71 = Mehmet Okur
78 = Ronnie Price
90 = CJ Miles
96 = Kyle Korver
143 = Matt Harpring
Best "Value" of NBA Players for the price:
4 = Paul Millsap
13 = Deron Williams
16 = Ronnie Brewer
46 = Carlos Boozer
73 = Ronnie Price
93 = Mehmet Okur
121 = Andrei Kirilenko
136 = Kyle Korver
146 = CJ Miles
155 = Matt Harpring

Matt Harpring is also 216th by Reina Value. Brilliant. Also, Jason Williams is 7th by SCOR value, didn't this guy play for 9 million last season?

I can't find any info on what Jason Williams contract was last season. The only thing I could think of would be if Williams had signed a 1-year contract last season with the heat for a low amount. The Reina Value has Williams ranked #6 in terms of value, and that could only hold true for a player averaging about 10 and 5 if he had a low contract.

There are over 300 players in the league... so if Harpring ranks in the top half in effectiveness as has been stated, doesn't that tell us that he DOESN'T suck?

He plays football and he is white. That is enough here in Utah for him to earn minutes. I mean, look at Carlos Araujo... Who the fudge gave him a contract?
