Tempted to go, if my friends are going I'll be there.
You can get a sneak peak at me if I go, I will probably be the only kid there wearing a whitesox hat. I would like to see Knight and Miles before the season starts.

Milsap looked good
Korver was fantastic.
Okur looks as good as everyone says. I could easily see him exploding this season for 17-20 ppg.
Knight didnt do much.
Koufos is awesome.
Almond chucked.
Brewer was great and hit a couple threes.
Boozer looked similar to the playoffs last year. Lots of turnovers and he dealt with double teams poorly. He did have a few nice plays at the end.
DW is a monster. I think he's going to be in the top 5 for the MVP race next year and lead the team in scoring. I'm guessing 21/11.

White Team
Carlos Boozer
Deron Williams
Jarron Collins
Kyle Korver
CJ Miles
Bench
Kosta Koufos
Gerry McNamara
Gabe Muoneke
Blue Team
Ronnie Price
Ronnie Brewer
Andrei Kirilenko
Paul Millsap
Mehmet Okur
Bench
Kevin Lyde
Brevin Knight
Morris Almond
The game began sloppy. Boozer still looks like he is a fluke, and has lost it. The team White was down by like 17 points... but they made it back by the end of the game. CJ Miles didn't have the best game of his life, and got into some foul trouble, which he deserved for fouling the fastbreak. Koufos has the long range stroke, he hit a good long range shot. Collins got like a good charge, but the fella is clearly in the end of his career. Korver was stroking it perfectly.
I have never liked Brewer... but the fella has a jumpshot. This is coming from a hater. Millsap has diversified his game a lot. Okur was average, he didn't get many shots anyways. Fesenko has better than I expected, good power in the middle, and got some good hookshots. Almond is the man that looked like Ray Allen getting open, but made no shots. Almond was probably the worst player of the match. Andrei Kirilenko is a beast, the guy is stroking the jumpshots without looking akward, and also his interior passing was a major factor at the beginning. I thought Price was gonna be the odd man out, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Price is back, and he is demanding his job, and Knight doesn't seem to match him. I would say Price is the most improved without a doubt, in handling the team and shooting it.
Koufos still has a lot of time to learn... BUT HE WILL BE AN NBA STAR. Perhaps not All-Star, but the guy has the work ethic of Araujo, but with tons of potential unlike Araujo. He is clearly the hustler on the team.
Deron, well... he is in another level. He didn't try to score or take over, but since the game was sliding so badly, you could see he could dominate at will. He got a dunk at will, 3 pointer at will, paint passes at will. He didn't have to play a lot to have been the MVP of the game.
I would say AK and D-Will were the respective MVPs. AK was incredible and efficient.
One thing that I would like to note. Before the scrimmage, there were the interviews... and guys.. THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIP. They are all now speaking about this. Expect to be listening for the whole season about championship. We are officially a contender.

Thanks Duiz! Right after I hit send, your post showed up. Nice to see AK doing well. Hope CJ just had a bad game. I'd really like to see him stealing some minutes from Harp this year.

I thought of a new nick name for Deron, How about "AT WILL". Since he can do anything at his own will.

I was also there today.. Though my opinions may differ a bit. Here's my breakdown of the players:
Morris Almond - His jumper wasn't working very well, and he had a few fouls. He is definitely working without the ball, but today's scrimmage is one I'm sure he would like to forget.
Carlos Boozer - His defense looks a little better, though he still got nailed for a couple of ticky-tack touch fouls on the perimeter on his show outs. His offense game was very poor until the final quarter when he seemed to really pick it up a notch and looked like the Boozer we all want to see this year.
Ronnie Brewer - My most improved. His jumpshot was on, the extra muscle he has added looks like it isn't slowing him down at all, he was still jumping/slashing/stealing like last year, but with a jump shot now. He really owned the MVP for the blue team in this game. If he knocks his jumpers down at game time, we'll be a LOT better.
Jarron Collins - Exceeded my expectations, I was expecting a 0 point 4 foul game, I got a 2 point 5 foul game. Yes guys, Jarron Floppins is back for one more season.
Kyrylo Fesenko - Fes looks lost on the court. He still does not have the conditioning to run up and down the court, but it's not as bad as it was in the RMR. He showed 1 or 2 good moves at the hoop and had a blocked shot, but for the most part he just looked lost and slow. He will be a D-Leaguer again this season.
Andrei Kirilenko - AK was his usual active self, moving well without the ball, playing great defense and missing wide open jumpers. His shot looks much better even if he was missing some, his interior play was great and he was the second best player on the blue team (RB was the best).
Kyle Korver - Kyle looked very good. His jumpshot was spot on tonight and he was very active defensively. If they can incorporate him more into the offense this season (ie: jumpshot's off of the curls, Matty's play) instead of letting him sit outside the arc, he will be a much more valuable player for us. His 15-20ft jumper is money.
Brevin Knight - Not a lot to see out of Brevin, with the exception that he can run the team. He did not really attempt any shots, but was distributing the ball well enough. I think Sloan will most likely give him the nod as the 2nd string PG mainly for him style of play over Price.
Kosta Koufos - Um wow.. Easily the player that impressed me the most. A few things I noticed from Kosta. 1- The kid can run the floor, he was outrunning smaller players and was rewarded with a nice dunk on one play. 2- Range. I didn't know what his range was, but he drained a 3 and also about a step out 20 ft jumper, all net. 3- Poise. He did not look like the same kid we saw at the RMR. He looked like he belonged and quite frankly should take any minutes that Collins would get.
C.J. Miles - One word sums up C.J.'s day - Lousy. He really did not look in the game, his jumper was off, he was picking up fouls including a couple of offensive fouls trying to mow through guys to get to the basket. I hope he picks it up now that he is getting paid good money, right now he doesn't crack the rotation.
Paul Millsap - I was very impressed with Paul. There wasn't a whole lot new to his game, but he was very aggressive, had a nasty block on Booze on one end of the floor and was putting on some good offensive moves on the other end. I think it is safe to say that Paul is the highest value, least paid player in the league.
Mehmet Okur - I was very impressed with Memo. I don't think I have seen him run the floor like this since he has been in the league, he looks very lean and was stroking the jumper. I expect he will pick up right where he left off last year with 17 and 10's.
Ronnie Price - Price looked very good offensively, defensively he looked bad. The jury is out between he and Knight as to which should get the minutes, but he is making a strong case that he should be the backup PG.
Deron Williams - D-Will looked very good, as he always does. It's safe to say that he will be tearing it up again this season. He had a very nice jam coming down the lane, but blew a dunk later in the game. His passing was spot on and he almost had a really nice alley-oop completion with C.J. late in the 4th quarter, the pass was perfect. Expect to see him as an all-star this year, anything less is a travesty.
I am not going to comment on the other guys since they won't be making the team, but McNamara may have a shot somewhere that needs a 3rd PG, he wasn't too bad.

Good breakdowns by everyone, I'll add my .02.
Collins was terrible. Just terrible. He was open for passes a couple times, but, never expected the ball.
Knight was poor. Price outplayed him by far.
Fes needs to get more agressive. With his size he should be in the paint demanding the ball down low.
AK looked great. Not so much scoring but, everywhere else.
Korver was on fire. I didn't notice him getting burnt on defense eitehr.
Millsap showed improved footwork IMHO. Very improved. I think it's clear that was what he worked on this summer.
Deron is a load on both ends. Boozer is spotty.
Brewer looks even better this year. A nice draft pick by the Jazz.
I'm not sold on Kufos yet. Greg Foster paut deux as far as I can tell. Still better tahn Collins though. He could actually contribute this year, not bad for where he was drafted.
Biggest surprise for me was Ronnie Price. I thought Knight was going to make him look like a rookie out there, but, it was the other way around. In fact, Knight looked no better than the random white PG that was out there at times.
Biggest disapointment was Boozer. He just wasn't giving it his all out there. Which is sad because some guys were crashing the boards, diving for lose balls, and falling out of bounds to make plays. He didn't care much unless he had the basketball.
I thought the guy that looked like Baron Davis played a decent game. Seemed to be focused on defense, and I thought he did pretty well.
Lyde was back for another run. I didn't see anything improved over last year. In fact, he looked better last year.
Lastly I thought they artificially changed the score to make it a tie game. The white team got like 5 points on one possession. I think they might have been trying to add some drama.

Thanks guys for the solid input I read everyones. Working late sucks. Much appreciated.
Sounded like Brewer and Kosta impressed and Ronnie P converted some unbelievers.

5 conclusions from this scrimmage...
Ronnie Price seems like has won the backup spot.
Boozer is like AK of 06-07... we need to trade him, or worse, he will accept the contract because no one will pay him more than his guaranteed contract with us will. Morris Almond likely won't get a contract extension either.
Ronnie Brewer is back, with a jumpshot, and playing good defense. The SG spot finally has a lockdown.
Kosta Koufos has the work ethic of a Yao Ming or Kobe Bryant. If he has 1/5 of the potentials mentioned above, then he will pay dividends when Okur is long gone. Ohh yes he will.
If Chris Paul winks, one milisecond, Deron Williams will make it to the 1st All-NBA Team.
