Looks like the '05 Boozer is in camp

Boozer not playing tonight. Sore hamstrings. I sure this is not more of the same from the Booz. He has a bad track record for dealing with hamstring injuries, both timetable-for-return-wise and media-addressing-wise....

This was already posted and it means nothing, just pre-cautionary, though Im sure he is faking it.

Who friggin' cares if he misses a preseason game? It doesn't really matter. Personally, I don't even think that starters should play in the preseason until the last two or so games.

I'm pretty sure he is in jail for that banking fraud thing he got caught up in.
But anyways...

Carlos Boozer practiced in full Friday after sitting out two preseason games with a sore left hamstring. He is expected to play Sunday, though rookie Kosta Koufos is still questionable with a hamstring strain of his own. . . .
So Boozer is doing okay, I hope Koufos plays, I want to see he go up against fellow Ohio Stater Greg Oden!

Boozer is the most indirect, condecending, irritating and annoying player to ever wear a Jazz uni. ARGHHH!

I just time warped your reply 13 years in the past.
The exact same thing were said about Malone. Booze is fine.

Yeap... I guess you can say the same sort of stuff about Malone... but Malone take the Jazz to the Finals twice... and if not for some highly questionable calls... (and a little bit of Karl's choking of course....) If only Stockton (the real genious out there) had a little bit more selfishness...
So... I guess I agree with JOOZER.
I admit that Boozer's game is debatable stuff... yet I wouldn't be sad if the guy left the Jazz by next summer...

Melo sat out the outdoor game with a bruised ring finger
In other words these games are just preseason and they want to rest because of the time they spent playing in the olympics

Malone was cool until people started considering him to be one of the best power forwards of all time. It was about that time that he became a dick. Boozer is a long ways from that. That is why it is so annoying to have him behave like a diva. I love Booz but I can live without the attitude.

I'm not sure what attitude anyone is talking about. Boozer is one of the nicest guys on the Jazz and by all accounts a good friend to everyone on the team.
Do I wish he played better defense? Of course, does that make me think he's a scumbag off the floor and a thief? Not even close.
The Jazz are better right now with Boozer then with out him. If he leaves, they need to find another low post scorer who can carry the teams offense through out stretches of the season or they will take a step back.

Im also not sure where this Boozer talk is coming from. If you're basing it off his lack of D or the infamous hamstring saga then I think you're making baseless accusations. Off the court, whenever I valet, Booz has always been nice to me, gave me great tips and never had that aholeish attitude like he is better then me. Actually I would have to say that this group right now is among the most approachable and non stuck up group of players that Ive experienced. A lot of that has to do with them being young, Im sure if they were all vets they might be stockton esque.
Booz might be overrated and overpaid, not play D, but he is a great teammate in the locker room and off the floor.

Yeah, calling him a dick may have been harsh. Sorry. He just seems smug and ambiguous. I just get annoyed. I feel as though he may do to us what he did to Cleavland. I will just relax.

I understand what you are saying, and I completely understand the fear that he could bolt with no sense of loyalty. However I think things are different hear.
For one thing, he's been an all-star twice with this team, and even though we all know it's Deron Williams team, Boozer is still either 1 or 1b in the national spotlight of the Jazz.
Two, he has his money. He left Cleveland and got a much bigger deal then anyone expected, and it was his first real contract. $68,000,000 is a ridiculous sum of money, I don't see him being as driven by money this time around.
Three, the Jazz will do what is in the best interest for the team. Everyone knew resigning Boozer was a huge constituent in the Deron Williams negotiations, I am sure the Jazz have a plan to bring him back.
Four, he's on a winning team. My guess is he would rather play for a winning team then a basement dwellar with a lot of money.
I could be wrong, but I have faith the Jazz will resign him.
