Jazz v Bulls 6:30 MTN on KJZZ from Champaign, Illinois


Should be a really fun game for a preseason game. Deron's return to Assembly Hall, not to mention we will get a look at Deron possibly matching up against Derrick Rose. Hopefully ONE of our backup PG's will be able to play.

Glad it's on TV, even if tomorrow night's game isn't.

Deron getting love from Derrick Rose and Vinny Del Negro per the Wiretap:
"Bulls' coach Vinny Del Negro wasn't sure whether or not he'd start rookie point guard Derrick Rose against Utah's Deron Williams on Friday night, but Rose appears excited to continue facing the game's best.

"But that's what you want," Rose said of facing Williams. "Come in and you're ready to learn, so you want to go against the best people. He and Chris Paul played a lot of minutes [in Las Vegas], so I played against him a lot."

Rose battled Jason Kidd earlier this week when Chicago took on Dallas.

"It's a great test for Derrick," Del Negro said. "Those are two of the best. Jason's a future Hall of Fame guy. Deron's not only one of the top guards but players in the league. The better the competition, the more you can play against those guys, the more you can pick up and learn a little bit."


If I know Deron, he is going to try and make Rose look like the rookie he is.

AK!!!!!!! That rejection on Tyrus THomas was ridiculous.

It seems everyone is playing hard tonight except for Deron.

AK has had some SWEET blocks. That block by Korver on Gordon was sick as well.

OKur is finishing well, but he cant hit his damn FT's.

AK is active, Booze and Memo are looking good. I thought Ronnie Price played real well. Korver could not get free, you could tell he was getting frustrated. Deron really didnt play well.

Rose was really impressive at the start of the game. After that he started forcing things.

Man, Booz is showing us the player he can be if he tries.

It's been a fun game. The game has felt more like a regular season game, you can tell we're getting close to the start of the season.

I don't know about other teams' games, but the online scoreboxes thing happened A LOT last season during Jazz games..

It's preseason, they are sharing the minutes. They will start to give him more minutes though. I also wouldn't be surprised to see AK come off the bench in the beginning of the season, cause Sloan has been starting Miles all preseason. Maybe they'll split minutes like Brewer/Korver.

IF the Jazz could hit their FT's, we wouldve walked away from this game easily. 26-43 FT's is RIDICULOUSLY HORRENDOUS. We need to get that sh*t squared away before the season starts.
