Deron to share ESPN mag cover?

The timing of the injury is unfortunate in another respect: Williams is supposed to be sharing the cover of ESPN magazine's season preview. ESPN's Ric Bucher was in Boise, Idaho, on the first day of training camp to do a story on Williams.

I bet it will be him and Chris Paul on the cover. Or him along with a few other Olympians: Kobe, LeBron, CP, Dwight.

I'm pretty certain a 2-week preseason injury isnt going to keep anyone off a cover page. If Deron isn't on the cover...they were never gunna use him anyway.

Supposedly the NBA Preview issue comes out tomorrow (Oct 22). I will be sure to look for it.
