What can I say?

If he plays defense like that the rest of the year I'll heart Carlos as well.

Boozer and Memo's defense was much improved tonight. It still wasnt anywhere close to what it should or needs to be, but it is improving. I like what Im seeing.

Biggest improvement by Boozer was not immediately fouling when someone took him off the dribble.

Yeah Boozer played very good defensively. He actually had more like 3 steals tonight, but they continued to credit him for fouls instead.

I wasn't really that impressed either. Seemed like more of the same to me.

I am really not sure why this thread is coming up. Didn't Boozer had like one monster game in the post-season, just to fluke it out?

I guess spur of the moments are forgiveable.

I don't think a couple steals and a great block quite equal out being consistently beaten by his man and not rotating. That said, this was still a better effort than I'd have expected.

I could only see the 2nd half of the game and I thought Memo did a pretty good job guarding the Nuggets bigs in the post. Kmart couldn't get anything going against Memo. Boozer didn't impress me that much. He got his hands on some balls, but he needs to move his feet instead IMO. Jazz rotations on defense still look pretty awful.
They rebounded pretty well though.

Booze tried to do too much at times and got himself into trouble

But at least he made the two free throws and the shot at the end to put give us a 3 pt lead

I thought Boozer's defense was still a bit poor last night. He didn't have the dumb fouls like usual but Denver's opening possesion KMart blew right by him and he had to foul. Denver's first 2 buckets were because of his poor defense. It has improved but it wasn't that much better and it was only against the Nugget's.

Great game by Boozer. He carried us to a win.

The thing I was most pleased with.....I cant recall Boozer being called for a single offensive foul. He was getting hammered with them in the pre-season.

All in all, Boozer looked realy good last night....his defense still needs improvment, but he looked as if he was really trying. If he plays this well all year offensively, and continues to improve defensively, we are going to win a lot of games.....and we are going to be ponying up a lot of money at the end of the season to keep him

I have to laugh at all the people that predicted a Boozer decline this year, based solely off a rough stretch in last year's playoffs. He's clearly back to being himself, and might be even better with a new contract hanging in the balance. The one thing I am interested to see is if he is still knocking down those 15-18 footers that were so automatic through the first 3/4 of last season. But he's obviously still the player he always was. Gotta love the rush to judgment.

Also, I thought his D last night was pretty good, but could still use a lot of work as well. Still, we are seeing more effort so far this season. If we can continue to build on that and work our way upward as the year progresses, we could be a pretty good defensive team heading into the playoffs. Good signs so far.

Exactly, lets keep things in perspective, the guy won the game for us last night.

If you would have told me that Boozer would be stripping in the fourth quarter I would have wondered why he'd be getting naked on the court. Couple of big plays toward the end there, despite the poor foul issued to him.

It was really weird. I only caught the last 5 minutes or so of the game when I realized I could get it on NBA TV. Nearly every possession I saw had Boozer losing the ball leading me to think he must've sucked the entire game. I was very surprised when I looked at the box score. The block was sweeeeeeet though.
