GAME 3 of 82
Utah Jazz VS Los Angeles Clippers
Where:Staples Center, Los Angeles California
When: Monday, November 3, 2008-- 8:30 PM MST
TV: FSN

The Utah Jazz travel to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers, in game 2 of a "home and home" for these teams. The Jazz, 2-0, hope to remain among the leagues unbeaten teams, while the Clippers, 0-3, are trying to mark their first win. The Jazz won the first meeting between these two teams, 101-79. Both teams look to be without their floor generals, yet again. Deron Williams reamins sidelined with an ankle injury suffered in a preseaon game against Chicago, while Baron Davis is recovering from a bruised hip suffered in the Clippers loss to Denver. The Jazz were the best hometeam in the league last year, but struggled on the road, posting a horrific 17-24 road record. Will the road woes continue??? Only time will tell.......LIFE OFF, GAME ON!!

They have no bench, I can't see them beating us on the road without Davis and Camby. With Hart replacing Davis, that's a huge drop next to us losing Deron but having Price and Knight. Also Camby would add so much defensively, but without him it's pretty easy for the Jazz to take it in with all the guys we have that can score in the paint. Also Al Thornton, their biggest weapon without Davis, went 2/8 and got 5 points. AK is BACK! I think we'll beat them again, and unless LA comes out with an early fury again, we should beat them easily again.

I think this is Okur's break out game offensively. They'll put a lot more pressure on Booze giving him the opportunity to kick it out to Okur or hit a slashing Brewer.

Yeah, my guess is we finally see better games from Memo and CJ!

Jazz 3-0!

I doubt Hart starts. It looks like he loses out to the 3rd stringer again. Also dont forget Jarron is day to day with bitchinitis.

Yeah, my guess is Mike Taylor starts for the Clipps tomorrow. For the first time this season I won't be working during the so I can sit and watch it in peace instead of trying to watch it at work which isn't the worst seeing that I work at a sports bar.

But it will be nice to sit, have a meal and enjoy the game.

Looks like Baron is very very unlikely to play. Considering they still don't have a diagnosis on his hip he probably isn't going to play.

Camby said he might be able to play and that the pain his managable, but that still doesn't sound all that promising, my guess is he sits tomorrow out as well.

First game on the road without our floor leader. I don't know about this..The good thing is Clippers will be without their floor leader so they might struggle as well. But If I had to predict the outcome I'd say a loss for the jazz. Clippers are hungry for their first win of the season and beating NBA teams back to back is no easy task especially with D-will still watching from the sidelines

There's no reason to risk it right now, this early in the season. They should just wait and let him get right.

What the hell are you guys so worried about? This is at the VERY VERY best a 45 win team completely healthy, now it's a 25-30 win team as is. You guys are too worried, just cause it's a road game. Williams is out, but big deal, they don't have Davis nor Camby. It's a cakewalk unless they shoot over 58% in the first half again.

Yeah, if Cat blows up again it could be close. Don't know if we can blow them out, but this should be a pretty easy win if everything develops the way it should.

We should play them better now we have scouted their rookie.

I'm more worried about our team. Memo's got to get it going somehow. He's so used to D-will setting him up on those moneyballs. without him he struggles. so far we've shot just 23.5 % from 3, that's not going to get it done on the road. CJ has got to give us something offensively.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say we lose this one. I wonder if we would have lost the last one if LA just didnt run out of gas after the first half. Clipp's get a little rest, last game still fresh in their minds.

I will say that if Memo has a good game offensively we pull out another one.

Hopefully the mighty DWill plays later this week.

I hope we win. I don't have a good feeling about this. We need our production to outscore them, because with Boozer on the court I am expecting a foul after foul after foul, and a free throw parade. If not, it will be a layup parade.

For as much argument that there is that the Jazz got lucky and the Clipps were just gassed at the end of the game on Saturday. You could just as easily say the Jazz just took 2 quarters to figure them out and once they did the Clippers were terrible.

I expect the Jazz to pick up where they left off.
