Utah will be looking for revenge after getting dominated by this team last year. I predict a blowout win.

This game will show how improved our interior defense is.

Portland takes a lot of jumpers. We like to force teams to take jumpers. It doesn't really work in our favor as we're forcing them to a strength.

Zone defense will hurt us against them. Lets see how long we languish in a zone before we give up and go back to man to man. I'll guess an 8 point swing in their favor before we go back.

Recipe to win: Man to man with switching on screens. If not a switch then a dedicated show. I'd rather have a mismatch then give up an open look against this team.

I kinda feel bad for Portland. They have so many potentially great pieces to their puzzle, but the main piece, Oden, I have a feeling is the kind of NBA player that will never truly be healthy. You can tell when a player that isn't fully healthy tries to play, they have very little confidence in their body and their skills. Oden looked a lot like this in his first game this season, and of course got injured very quickly. I feel bad, the guy has massive potential, but it is unlikely that he will ever get healthy enough to show what he can do. He may never be able to gain the confidence in himself that he needs.

One of my favorite "rookies" to watch so far has been Rudy Fernandez. That guy has great game. He is quick, smooth, and has a great shot. He also has a lot of experience already and won't need the rookie break in time. He was an absolute steal.

As I see it, Portland will be in a fight with Denver to always be 2nd best to the Jazz. Both teams are incredibly talented, but don't have the right chemistry. I feel Denver will be improved a lot with Billups at the helm, and will keep Portland out of a playoff spot for at least another year.

I'm excited for this game. I like watching Portland play now, they are a fun team with such great young potential. I can't believe how stacked the West is.

Go Jazz!

Well considering the injuries are pretty rampid in this match up it's hard to predict a winner. My guess though is the Jazz are still on a high from being 3-0 and the Jazz are at home, and thus will take the game.

Still waiting for that break out game from CJ and Memo, hope it comes today.

The key to this game is not to let LaMacrus Aldridge beat us. Roy can get his, but if that second guy guys off as well the Jazz will be in trouble. Stop LA and the Jazz will win this game.

Tough game tonight. The Blazers had our number last year and they've added some nice pieces. Jazz are playing great and at home though. I'm expecting Boozer to have a monster game and hopefully CJ or Memo do some damage. Since Deron isn't playing tonight, he should probably sit the OKC game too.

We're playing at Utah, so I expect a win, but I expect a relatively slow start, and pull away in the 2nd half like we did in previous games.

Hawks up early 19-14 on the Hornets. I wouldn't mind seeing NO lose

+1. Hawks are actually playing well. They might have a shot.
Pistons look like they don't miss Billups at all and Amare is going absolutely insane against the Pacers.

Whats the deal with KJZZHD? Does it not exist? Do DirectTV people just not get it?

I thought all Jazz games would be in HD this year.

Wow....the Jazz look sloppy so far. We are lucky to only be down by 3. We are not rotating on defense, and they are getting easy buckets.
