So I figured we'd do our first themed game thread of the season.
Starting for the Charlotte Bob
CATSAt PG: Raymond Felton

(I'm the crappiezt Cat)
At SG: Matt Carroll

(Alls I canz do is shoot)
At SF: Jared Dudley

(I am who cat, az in, who iz this cat?)
At PF: Gerald Wallace

(I am jumping cat, I'z can jump high)
At C: Emeka Okafor

(I am injury cat, I should be better but I'z alwayz injured)
And 6th man for the Charlotte Cats:
At SF: Adam Morrison

(I am dirty cat, I needz a bath and a trim)
And Starting for your Utah Jazz:
At PG: Deron Williams

(Drums keep the steady pace in a frantic Jazz system)
At SG: Ronnie Brewer

(The Trumpet can be quick an exciting at times, and is usually a great addition to the Jazz Band)
At SF: CJ Miles

(The Clarinet is long and swanky, can be easily lost in the mix of other more prominent Jazz instruments)
At PF: Carlos Boozer

(When playing correctly the Saxaphone can easily be the best instrument in the band, however sometimes the notes just seem off.)
At C: Kosta Koufus

(The Stand Up Bass looks large and clumsy, but it's sound can be very powerful and be a great addition to any Jazz band.)
And the 6th Man for the Utah Jazz:
At SF: Andrei Kirilenko

(During any given performance the Piano can be the most versatile instrument, sometimes it dominates the band, somtimes it's simply not needed.)
Lets Go Jazz!!!

No J-Rich tonight so that should help the Jazz big time.

my compliments to your thread. spot on on everybody. i liked the grand piano and the third kitty. as for the game, will probably be closer than i should hope. the game will be between a 5 point loss and a 10 point win.

I agree with all of your instruments.
The Bobcats are a talented team who just have trouble pulling it together. Somehow these kinds of teams always thrive vs. the Jazz, so watch out.
Still, i say Jazz by 7 or 8

Great thread. The Adam Morrison picture is hilarious, because it actually kind of looks like him.

So the Trib is listing both Deron Williams and AK as doubtful.
The Jazz depth chart could look as follows:
PG: King/Price
SG: Brewer/Korver/Almond
SF: Miles/Harpring
PF: Boozer/Millsap
C: Koufos/Fesenko
Mo Almond could legitimately get some time tonight. Yikes. Boozer is going to have to play well and the someone else is going to have to have a 20 point plus game. The Jazz will struggle with this line up.

Des News officially confirms that both AK and Deron are out.
Im really annoyed at Deron. He had no business coming back and now is just in set back mode.

Glad he's out, if he can't play and help the team no reason to have him out there. Sounds like a no go for tomorrow as well.
Ahh well, Hopefully he'll be back for Phoenix on the 17th.
I just don't want this to be a Boozer Hamstring type incident where the return date just keeps getting pushed back.

Why the hell did the Jazz trainers and coaches let Deron come back before he was ready? All the talk was "we're not going to rush him back it's a long season."
And to bring him back and play back to back nights?? He played 31 minutes the first game back and then 33 minutes the very next night...That is just plain stupid. That is exactly what you do to have an injury drag out way longer than it should.

The good thing was, like Deron said there was little risk of aggrevating the injury, it's just simply pain he was going to have to make the choice of whether or not to play through. He tried it, said he isn't able the things he wants to do so he's shutting it down.
He hasn't said he's in worse shape today then he was a few days ago, simply that it hurts and he can't do what he wants on the floor.

Road game against a bad team without D-Will, Okur and AK = Loss

The Bobcats are shorthanded also, Jason Richardson is their leading scorer and with out him they are considerably short handed. The Jazz will have the best player on the floor with Boozer, and still a good supporting cast with Brewer, Knight, Korver and to a lesser extent CJ and Koufos.
Is it a great line up? No, but can it beat the Bobcats, absolutely.

Great game thread....
Don't know much about Dudley, eh?
We are a mess, and you are missing half your players, who knows what will happen....
FYI: Morrison cut his hair, and looks much cleaner now...

Can they beat the Bobcats? Of course.
The Cats being shorthanded just makes them a worse team and thus all the more likely the Jazz will do their road clown show and lose.
