(4) A place of discussion in regards to the injuries.

Not that it really matters. Fesenko injured is borderline comical. I expect Lyde to join the jazz or something, because we are pretty thin. Don't know if the Knicks are any thinner than us right now.

SLTrib said Knight was in uniform on Monday night and Yahoo Sports had him listed in the box score for last 'knight' even though it was a DNP. I'm confused?

My guess is he is in the same situation as Deron, and the Jazz are just letting him heal up completely before he gets back in the games. But seriously he needs to replace Price.

The Olympics would only explain 2 of the injuries to our team. I just think the Jazz were kinda due. They play a very physical game, and have avoided having main players injured at the same time for a while now, you can only go so long, especially with some of the brittle players we have.
At least none of these guys have shot themselves in the leg...

This is beyond ridiculous at this point. Unless things turn around quickly, this season is going to go down as a severe disappointment. And by quickly I mean within the next two weeks or so. I can't watch these games anymore. This isn't the team that we are or were supposed to be.
As a footnote, isn't it quite telling that despite all these injuries Fes hasn't been able to sniff the court? I thinks its about time to write him off. Just isn't improving himself.

To be fair to Fes, he's all of 21 years old, he's massive, and he's been playing American basketball for all of 1 year. I'm still willing to give him more time, especially considering we traded Herbert Hill for him who has played in exactly... 0 NBA games.
The good thing about the Jazz, even though they looked flat last night and tired, they were trying. Even down 10 with under 2 minutes to go they fought to get it down two a four point game with a chance to cut it to a single point, shots just weren't falling.
Playing hard like they did pays off, if they play hard like that everygame, especially after they get healthy they will win a lot of games this year. Remember last year the Jazz were 16-16 in December. We will be better then that this year.

Good thread idea, Duiz... execution needs a little work though. For starters, how about something a little less gay?

I think the status of our team is gay. I guess you don't see the sarcasm.

• Kirilenko (irritated right ankle), reserve forward Matt Harpring (strained lower back) and reserve big man Kyrylo Fesenko (same) all are listed as game-time decisions for tonight's late-starting ESPN-televised meeting at home with the Toronto Raptors, and Kirilenko is hopeful he can go.
• Boozer is listed as "doubtful," but he suggested earlier this week that he probably won't play against until sometime next week at the earliest due to a strained left quadriceps tendon that already has caused him to miss eight straight games.
• Power forward Paul Millsap — who has been starting in Boozer's place, and who had a double-double in Wednesday's home loss to Miami — is being called "probable" because of a left big toe he sprained against the Heat.
• And reserve big man Jarron Collins (inflamed right elbow) remains out long-term.

Jesus. What a nightmare this season is turning into. Paul now too? He'll obviously play through it, but we don't need him slowed down.
