BYU vs. USU at ESA

Not NBA related, but the game on Saturday
is being played at the ESA. I think it's awesome that Dave Rose is such a coward that he will only play the Aggies if they move the game to a neutral venue, since he knows BYU can't win in the Spectrum. Same with any good team that comes to play the Cougars...they move the game to the ESA in order to keep their home court winning streak alive. For example: Michigan State murdering BYU in ESA last year, Wake Forest game at ESA this year...what a bunch of cowards! Congrats on the nation's longest home winning streak though.

Go Aggies!

Yes, BYU sucks but cool that USU can play within a taxi cab ride of the hard drinkin' fans who gotta work in the morning. I think a 4 way tourney style with the U, BYU, USU and WSU would be cool, but there is probably a buch of politics to that.

that would be very cool. like a preseason tourney or something. but to include wsu and not uvu? im surprised you forgot price's alma matter. that school is stepping up. as soon as it gets in a conference, tournament invites wont be far off.

Say what you want about neutral venue games, but I think it's cool that they get to play on an NBA court. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with keeping a home winning streak alive, that is a pretty bold assumption, and a ridiculous one at that. If anything, he would want the home crowd to help with a game like that. Should be a great game though, BYU's first real test.

Actually it was the Aggies who were afraid to come to the Marriott Center to take their wuppin'. So they demanded the Cougars come to Logan.

Pretty sure Utah State played in Provo two years ago. Then Rose wouldn't come back to the Spectrum, so he put the rivalry off for a year and then demanded the next one at ESA. It was a fun game, a good venue, but they usually switch off each home court every year. That's usually how it works anyway, just sayin...

I heard it was something like USU couldn't fit BYU in that year so Rose thought USU missed their year so it was BYU's turn again.
