With Millsap proven to be a quality starter and Boozer wimping out again as well as the fact he is likely leaving town at the end of the year, trade Boozer to Heat today.
To Jazz: Shawn Marion (likely leaves at end of year) & Michael Beasly
To Heat: Boozer (likely signs a new contract immediately), Korver & Almond
Jazz lineup:
PG Williams Price Knight
SG Miles Brewer (to bench)
C Memo Koufas Collins Fess
PF Millsap Beasily
SF Marion AK-47 Harpring
Jazz remain about the same level team likely improve defensively lose some offensively. Key is getting something for Boozer in Beasily. Team not good enough to win it anyway.
Heat assures them getting Boozer plus quality player in Korver and young talent in Almond.
As for Jazz, hopefully Beasily develops with Williams and NYK pick Jazz have 3 young #1 quality players develop together and make a run at it in 3 years. Jazz have to face it. They are a 50-55 win team that is good offensively but below average defensively good enough for 1-2 series wins in the playoffs but far below the Lakers and Celtics.
