Harpring or Boozer

Carlos Boozer is a talented player offensively who has been criticized because of rumors of him milking his injury. There have been questions about his effort and commitment and loyalty to the Jazz.

Matt Harpring is a player who is limited in his physical ability but gives all is effort and does everything Jerry Sloan asks of him. He appears to be committed and loyal to the Jazz. He has been criticized by Jazz fans because of his limited skills and athleticism.

This can't be serious. I mean, between coasting on defense, milking injuries, choking in the playoffs and announcing that he will be opting out of his contract at the time that he did, Boozer has lost a lot of my respect. I definitely have more for Harpring, but Boozer's an all-star and Harpring's a mediocre (at best) role player in rapid decline. Boozer's one of the best offensive big men in the league and a great rebounder and, for now, he's reasonably paid, so this is an easy question to answer.

*HolyToledo starts thinking about a trade involving Boozer and Dwayne Wade*

My bad. I voted Matt.

I thought this thread was about who we'd rather see hit by a bus.

Apparently, 60% of posters on this board would rather own a Pinto than a Corvette.

You know, better gas mileage. The Pinto will never cost you a dime because you'll have to push it everywhere you go. Think of the savings.

but the pinto doesnt have to get 3 MRIs on what is a 7-10 day injury.

Exactly. The Pinto only needs one MRI to tell you that Jerry should have shot him last year, so that CJ could have benefited from those minutes.

Seriously though, that damn Pinto should have been scraped long before Sloan confused it with a John Deere.

Carlos Boozer knows the Jazz need him right now. The arthroscopic surgery he is going to have sounds like it could have been done in the offseason. But having the surgery offseason would potentially lower his value when he plans to opt out. Boozer being selfish and all about himself puts himself above the team, when the team needs him right now, especially with Millsap being out.

Matt Harpring on the other hand always has his knee surgeries in the offseason and is a team-oriented player.

One thing is for sure. You can't question where Matt's heart is. IF this were 4 or 5 years ago, I probably would have voted for Matt, but obviously a healthy Boozer would be much better for this team. I voted as if both were healthy right now, but even with Boozer's ridiculous history of injury, the state of Harp right now forces me to still vote for Booz.

Are you **** high?

Boozer being out right now does nothing to increase his value.

Booze is in the market for a new contract, and missing games right now DOES NOTHING BUT HURT HIS SITUATION.

Lay off the crack.

God bless the honest.

BTW, if you're going to use the word ridiculous, you might wanna look up Matt's injury history. Just sayin.'

BTW, there have been many bad threads on this board, but this has to be THEE. DUMBEST. THREAD. EVER. Congrats.

Next up:

DaleKjazz asks us who is more valuble right now: Dee Brown or Deron Williams.

You decide.
