We've been through hell with all the injuries and what not. DWill, Boozer and Memo HAVE NOT PLAYER A SINGLE GAME TOGETHER THIS SEASON. When you have 3 of your top 4 players not even play a game together, and all 3 of them having missed a significant amount of games due to injuries, what can you expect??
I think it's quite remarkable what we've been able to do even with all these injuries, and even though one get's frustrated that we could have won a couple more here or there, we're still in a preatty good position. Remeber, the bad thing about injuries is that one can do nothing about it. It's not like the team is in a funk, or playing bad, or X or Y player isn't playing well, etc. We're injured, and well, all we can do is wait and hope (and pray) to get healthy.
I think that we, as fans, should really take a look and understand the situation. We have to lower our expectations and take off the pressure. Forget about the division, forget about HCA, lets now just focus and set our goal to making the playoffs (and getting healthy
) and just take ti from there.We all know that this team, healthy, is top 3 in the west. So if we can get to the playoffs healthy, we stand as good a chance as anyone. We might not have HCA, or the best first round matchup, but if we believe we can win the west, we'll have to beat anyone and not try to "cheat" with HCA or "good" matchups.
Let's now concentrate on the playoffs (and getting healthy). If by in pass, we come across our divition lead again, GREAT. If by in pass we come across HCA in the playoffs then great too.
I don't think a trade is necesary right now, no reason to blow up the team, etc. The whole Boozer ordeal should be left to next summer, and move on.
