KOC, I know you come to the realgm board to get any and all Jazz trade ideas, so please read on. It is imperative you take my advise on this one. It is time to blow up the team and get a defensive center and let Sap run the 4. Just like PK suggested, trade Memo and Boozer for Okafur and Wallace.

We need you to do something KOC. We desperately need change cuz the team is going nowhere fast. Either turn this season into a bust and get a high draft pick (which is too late. We have already won too many games) or make a move and get this team back in the right direction again.

Didn't the Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks had the same mentality last year, and they have ended up now fighting for their playoffs lives?

Calm down, we have never solved anything by going on a trading spree. Take it easy fellas.

We haven't solved anything by standing pat either. There is nothing wrong with a trading spree... Look at the Lakers and Boston... worked out okay for them. It just has to be the right trade.

But we are in a different situation Duzy. Boozer could likely not be here next yr and we seem to have a younger and cheaper option with Millsap. I think right now we cant trade Memo because we have no size.

The problem is that we have been on a downward spiral (considering our talent level) and it doesn't look like its going to ease up. On top of that, a lot of our wins early this season was due to a pretty weak schedule.

I love Booz, he's a beast and this system is near perfect for him but his fragile body/mind is really hurting this team right now and you only get so many chances with the current cap space we have and players (so many contracts ending after this year) Sometimes you just gotta make a run at it while you can.

You know what, we were 3 points away from overtime and sending it to a game seven last season and we had all of the momentum turning our way. Sure Bynum was out but Boozer was playing like **** so that sort of cancels that out. We have even more depth this year with Knight and Kofous, plus Harpring probably won't get many minutes when we are at full strength. It's not like we played terribly in LA. And we really can only hope to avoid the Spurs. I just can't see us beating them without HCA.

Yeah ok. I'll consider it.

Sure. Cheaky (I don't know since when we have gotten this personal between you and me) I agree with you in regards of our status and the fact that we could get some good talent back and some expiring contract behind to clear out some cap to resign Millsap. But what I was refering to, and excuse my ambiguity, that we shouldn't be so trigger happy when speaking about trades. Looks where the Mavs are... They were a 60+ win team just two years ago, and now they are struggling to make the playoffs.

Both the Mavs and Suns traded for washed up veterans to push them over the top now. That would indeed be a stupid thing to do. However, trading for younger talent is not the same thing.

Bad comparison. Phoenix traded a malcontent for Shaq. I think you can still make a case for that trade being beneficial. The Suns may not have improved much, but they haven't lost much, either.

On the other hand, Mark Cuban is still considering the slashing of his wrists.

Dallas made one of the Worst.Trades.Ever.

Ironically, many Jazz fans criticize our management for being too conservative, and in the past have stated that Larry is cheap and should be more like Mark Cuban.

Praise the Lord above we have management that is much more patient than fans.
