OT: I am starting a campaign. three days remain!

*Disclaimer* This is about the Utes but it merits its own thread.

I am SICK of USC and-shouldtheywintonite-Texas trying to sway the AP with a vote for them as champion. I am an East Coaster that attended Utah for 2 years and I tell my office mates the following words each time I hear the crap they dish about our schedule and "real" BCS Conferences etc.:

"True Champions win games."

Thats all I say and the debate ends. I dont bring up TCU, Oregon State "who by the way beat USC!!! :thumbsup:

", Alabama, or pretender BYU. I just say "true champions win games and Utah won all of its games."

Please join me. I know its tough for those of you in Utah because nobody disagrees lol, but for the rest of us....support the Utes wherever you are. Declare to them THE TRUTH that the ONLY way the BCS will die is if the AP voters have the guts to vote its original buster as the TRUE National Champion.

So your campaign is to talk about Utah to common people? I dont understand. Several Ute fans have already started e-mailing the AP voters over the weekend, but have stopped because it seems like they have gotten the message.

In the work place, to your friends, anywhere if you are outside of Utah. If its at all like where I live, then college football is a daily topic. The usual BCS conference teams is the usual conversation. But Utah threw a major wrench into the system. I just want everyone here to tell their compatriots everywhere that "true champions win games" and make sure this team is never forgotten.

How many of these people have an AP vote? Because that is pretty much all that matters. Unless they are fans of the team or conference or in the Utah region, they really aren't going to care past the bowl game. I know I would be more annoyed by anybody that was always telling me how great a team is, kinda like Laker fans. Just what I think, but if you think it's that important, you go for it man...

Exactly. and what population of RealGM Jazz fans do not live in Utah...probably 30% or less.
