Utah/Orl?Trade

Post#1 » by The Magic Man » Fri Jan 23, 2009 11:21 pm

Im a Magic fan and I thought of a trade and I wanted some Utah fans opinion if its a fair trade proposal.

Utah Trade:Boozer
Orl Trade:Turkoglu,Redick,1rd pick

I thought it would be a fair trade since Milsap is playing great with Boozer out.Turk would be a good fit with Sloan's offense and Redick would give you 3pt shooting, and you get a late 1rd pick in the draft.
Would you do this deal if it was offered.

Yes if you take Collins too, for salary reasons.

Better than a lot of offers we see for Boozer, but I personally do not like Hedo's game and think that he will just murder our defense. If we can send Harpring and Collins your way and get back Tony Battie and Keith Bogans then I think I could handle it....

Also take out Reddick and the first, neither has much appeal (if any).

I like Hedo, but I don't think he'd be a good fit here.

Solid trade in principal yes, but don't Hedo and Memo have a grudge against each other? I remember something happened between them before a game vs the USA once.

They worked it out.

I am not sold on it. I really don't think Reddick will amount to much. 1st rounder isn't that big of a deal with how good Orl is. Turk... how much longer is he really going to be around. I see Reddick, Korver, and Turk all kind of the same player on various levels.

Orlando is playing like one of the top four teams in the NBA. They aren't moving Turkoglu. With Boozer and the rest of the Utah lineup healthy, the Jazz are one of the top teams too. No deal.
