SUPER SPOT: Injured Jazz All-Star power forward Carlos Boozer is the spokesman for a 30-second Overstock.com commercial scheduled to air immediately after halftime of today's Super Bowl.
According to a news release from the Salt Lake City-based Internet retail sales company, the ad "is the third in Overstock.com's recent branding campaign to promote themes of determination, a sense of home, and community," and it "shows Boozer talking with kids about dedication."http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,7 ... .html?pg=2Clearly, he's not going anywhere. At least Overstock hasn't lost faith in Boozer.

I'd rather see a press release detailing what he's doing to get back on the floor, rather than him doing a **** superbowl commercial

Holy crap. Thats like saying the guy in the Colgate toothpaste commercial is showing commitment. This is a case of Boozer, being a BUSINESSMAN, cashing in on his status as a marketable top-tier athlete. Nothing more. Expect him to do the same for some local hemoroid cream company or something in Memphis next year or wherever he is.....

Boozer did show his commitment, but not to the Jazz, to the almighty dollar.
